I wish someone had already told me that this series is now available with English subtitles via Hulu.

I remember watching the first episode without subtitles and wishing I could understand what the hell was going on. Now I can.

The show has turned out to be more than just decent. To be honest, Serban Pavlu is so fucking hot that I would still watch the whole thing no matter what, with the hopes he might get nekkid again, which he's done at least one other time so far (I'm up to episode 6). But the high quality of the show has been a pleasant bonus.

It's a Romanian spin on The Sopranos, with the Tony character an aging foot soldier instead of a captain, and more the "strong, silent type" than a charismatic sociopath. It's intelligently written and directed, with a bunch of terrific actors, definitely on par with the Romanian New Wave in the cinema world.

It's well worth your time, even if Pavlu isn't your type -- and if so, what's wrong with you?
 
Not nude, but here is David Harbour in episode 1x01 of the new Netflix show, Stranger Things. Too good not to post. He looks fabulous in his sheriff outfit. ;)
