I don't know, the dad in that film kind of comes off as nuts and went over the edge because he closed off his real homosexual feelings for too long. He wasn't very sympathetic.

On a side note, Deon Lotz is gorgeous!

Agreed Lotz is super hot! Just I felt it was another film made by straight guys, in which the idea that a gay guy might force himself on you at any time was reinforced. It felt like it was saying gay people are scary and dangerous and they might rape you...

Yeah, I can see what you're saying. There was also the issue where they eroticized the hunt and the rape, although he couldn't even get it up properly because he was so fucked up.

There was one scene where the father was watching a normal out gay couple in public and couldn't fathom ever doing that. If the movie hadn't included that scene, it would have been too one-sided.
