If anyone who likes being naked in public will be in San Francisco, there's an opportunity this coming Sunday with the Bay to Breakers. It's an annual 7-mile run (or walk, if you wish). Many people participate in costume or even completely naked. San Francisco recently banned full nudity (non-sexual nudity was legal until recently), but there's an exemption for street fairs, parades, and similar events.

Unfortunately, you have to register and supposedly for security reasons they're going to crack down on people jumping into the race who haven't registered. You can register on their website, or as a spectator you could go naked on the sidewalks. They are also prohibiting backpacks and bags larger than 8½-by-11-by-4 due to security concerns after the Boston bombings. Since you can't walk to the B-to-B naked (unlike last year), that means you'd have to dress lightly in order to be able to strip down there. Of course, you could wear just underwear (or even a jockstrap) to the race and then take it off and carry it.

Anyone planning to go, naked or otherwise?

I love being naked in public, but not in a way that would get me in trouble. Nude beaches are great, pools that allow nudity, nudist camps. I've got family in Sweden & Norway and it's great to be there in the summer because swimming or sunning nude is so commonplace. Having sex or jerking off in a public area is fun, but I won't do it where there is a chance of getting caught. That happened once and it was awful. There are some gay men's resorts in Palm Springs that are great because you can sun & swim nude, jerk off or have sex, infront of everyone with no shame or fear of arrest. I always tell people I know that going to a place where you can be nude is life changing. The people you meet at places where nudity is allowed are so happy and well adjusted, clothes are a barrier in so many ways.
