Updates for the week:

Here are some updates for this week:

Also the quality and quantity can be an issue. Some OFs I have signed up to do either post unregurarly or it is so much content that you cannot get an overview (I want to sign up for Rico Marlon, but the 500 videos make me nervous ). Missing search options and bad descriptions (if at all) make that even worse. Qualitywise I do miss the variety that studios can provide..wide shots, close ups, changing angles, different setups and yes, sometime also music. There are exceptions of course (EyeFilmz with Rhyheim Shabazz really does a good job in this), but many bring you "more of the same" - same room, same angle, same action. So many times, it is a hit and miss. You sign up for 10 $ and you find out the content is not what you expcected. Or it is the content you expected and have to pay 20 $ for each scene that is sent to you via DM - often with no preview, so you buy it blindly. I lately saw a snippet on a models twitter feed - I knew both of them, there was a link to the OF page, plus there was some nice armpit action in it. Subscribed for a month scrolled and watched all videos...the one from twitter was not there....

I agree kibunoubu that you can get really good niche content, and once you have found a model/channel you like it can be a very good alternative. I have 5 channels that I have subscribed for a longer time already, and some ones on and off. But also my wallet tells me to stop at some point The biggest downside for me is that the content is so unstructured. I still often go to GEVI to search for actors' work once I discovered them, or use GayHotMovies to look for an unidentified scene I have seen on twitter - the search tags help you drip down your search...this is impossible on OF. My hope is that new features are added, like tagging, previews and an improved search. Until then for me it remains a second (and sometimes really good) option, but will not replace studio-work at this stage for me.

I agree with both of you, but particularly these points you make musclelucca...the thing I don't like about the OF or JFF vids I've seen is indeed as you say the "variety" but I'd say quality...no close ups in particular...so specifically, the camera work, since they don't have a dedicated cameraman to get good (and some close up) shots of penetration for example. Oh, OF's interface is horrible, haha. The fact that a search function isn't part of OF profiles is inexcusable in 2006, much less in 2021. I agree with y'all, but that def doesn't stop OF from being a primary source of future porn.

Some studios are still worth it, but I really do like the customizing aspect of OF profiles. That being said, some profiles are just scams (10 second clips and then you have to pay a tip for the rest, etc.), so those profiles that are on the cheap side are probably not worth it tbh.
