I'm not into feet, personally, but I do have a major armpit fetish, and so I can imagine how it all works, lol
Having said that, when I was in college, a straight guy in my dorm . .. more of an acquaintance than a friend . . . once stopped by pretty late at night, obviously drunk, and wanted to "hang out" . .. anyway, after a few minutes, he kicked off his (huge) sneakers and put his feet in my lap and said "rub my feet" . .. there was about 4 seconds of awkwardness, since I didn't know if he was joking and he didn't know if I'd throw his feet off my lap and punch him in the face . . but then of course I did what he wanted. And, in that moment, I could totally understand the foot fetish thing, since his feet were so big and warm and masculine and muscular .. . and yet so sensitive . . and he was 'trusting' them to me. In fact, I was so moved by the experience (even though nothing actually happened apart from the foot massage, which had him sighing and groaning in appreciation, and me with a massive boner), that I wrote a story about it:

Socks can definitely be arousing, sometimes (though preferably, they come off at some point lol!) especially if they're a little sweaty and you can clearly make out the shape of the foot through the sock. That's really hot. Recently, I've been finding those ankle/no-show socks incredibly sexy. Maybe because they show more of the foot/ankle than regular socks, or because they're usually tighter and show the shape of the foot off more... I'm not sure.
