Well my computer lied to me last night
The guy I have a major total crush on is listed as a graduate student here, which would mean that he is staying... but I found out today from him that he is not going here... he is going to another university, which is close to here (like 1-2 hrs). Oh well, there goes another one.
:grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

Tomorrow its finally here, the day I have been waiting for since the start of the new year.... its the LAST DAY OF CLASSES!

I so cant wait until 2pm tomorrow, cause I will be so done. And I think I am gonna drink the night away. I do have finals next week, but thats ok... no more boring ass lecutres.
Well I know I ended the semester with a huge thud. Each of the 3 classes I have gave us the biggest assignemnt of the semester (no exageration here) all due this week. The last class, the homework I turned in today I know I screwed up on at least 5/9 of the problems.
Oh well, I gave it my best, worst they can do is fail me :)
I guess my class of grad students is like the worst they have had in a long time, so that is interesting. There are like 3 of them that are standing a very good chance of getting kicked out after this semester... and this is just our second semester here.
I'm good so far tho. They have to put you on academic probation for a semester before they can kick you out, and since I was one of the few who didnt get that last semeseter I am safe. (I love sliding by just barely :) )
The good thing is, even if I do horrible this semester (which I dont think I am going to do, I think I am ok again) Once I get my 9 credits of A for research this summer that will boost my gpa back up to the safe zone.... gotta love that independant research.
I know for sure I have an A in one class, which is 4 credits so that rocks. Another class I am unsure of, I know I am not in the top 4, but I think I an close to right after that - so I should get a B or B+ in that class.... Then my last class... well, lets just say I am a little worried about that. I think I can skimp by with a B- if I do well on the final... lets hope :)

Lets see... today is Thursday... so that means this time 2 weeks from now I will be in London :)
*** Ok I just had a major panic attack... for some reason lately I have been thinking I screwed up something somewhere for this trip... oh geez, I'm gonna be a stress case by the end of next week... I always worry too much... so now that I just freaked myself out I have to spend some time rechecking the dates of the tickets, reservations, hotels, and locations... haha... god, after planning this trip I am gonna need it just to recover from its planning.

Ok, this was jsut a total sting of nonsense, typos, spelling errors, etc... so I am signing off, adios, au revior, ciao, yadda yadda

Well I am off, outta here, time to jet! In a mere 13hrs I am leaving my apt to go to the airport for my trip to Europe. I will be gone for about 2 weeks, get back late the 22nd... so I will try to post some pics and stuff on the 23rd or so.
Later!

Well I am back from my trip to Europe. It was an awesome time, some major hassels, dissappointments, and some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I got back in late last night, er I guess early this morning.. I could only sleep about 7 hours after being up for 26... I am still on Paris time :(
In the next couple of days I will write about each place and what I thought, as well as post some pictures... I have a lot of pictures... I took my digital camera and filled up 1 512MB memory card, about took about 100 or so more on andother card :)
But now I have to take a shower, go get my mail at the post office, try to balance my checkbook (I hate all the conversion shit), go get notes for the week of class I missed, and then show my sister around town tonight. She is here doing summer research!

Oh, and get some cat food... I had been feeding two stray cats off and on for a while, I saw them this morning and it looks like they hadnt eaten in ages... which is weird, because I know they were not dependant on me to feed them, maybe they just lost some hair or something... but they are chowin down on the last 2 cans of food I had left now :)

This is the first of several blog entrys I am going to make to refelct on my trip to Europe...

Well, I think I have finally caught up on some sleep.
I figured it out, we averages 4 hours of sleep per night. Notice that is an average, there were some nights we didnt sleep, and some where we slept more... but on average 4 hours each night.
We also only ate at most 1 time every 24 hours... I dont know why, we just were not hungry. That coupled with walking at least 10 miles a day, I think I lost about 20 lbs while in Europe :)

Getting to europe was harder than I thought. Our flight leaviny cincy was 2 hours late, which caused us to miss our connection to Dublin in Phily.... so the nice lady at US Air decided to send us on a later flight to Shannon Ireland, then from there to Dublin... getting us in Dublin only about 3 hours later than scheduled... not bad in theory... but when the flight from Phily was late leaving and arrived in Shannon even later, it turned out to be not such a good idea.
We made the flight from Shannon to Dublin tho, with about 5 min to spare... unfortunately our luggage didnt make the flight with us :(
We eventually got it, late that night... after being in the same clothes for basically 2 days... it was a good feeling to shower and change.

Dublin was a neat town, not what I was expecting tho. I want to go back to Ireland to see more of the country, not the city life.
There were so many cute guys in Dublin tho, and at Trinity College :)
I also think people drive like maniacs in that town! Not only did it take some getting used to being on the left, but it was just crazy drivers everywhere.

I really liked St. Stephen's Green... it makes parks here in the US look like shit.

Well in keeping with the rest of our flying experience... our flight from Dublin to London the next day was 30 min late leaving and landed a little over 2 hours late because Heathrow was down to 1 runway for some reason... so we got to circle the airport forever!

Soon I will write about London, the next stop on our trip... and by far my favorite place of all!

Ok, so this is taking me a lot longer than I had thought. The pictures will be up soon, but I had to sort them all by city, then name them all (which I am currently doing). Then I will need to select the ones I want to put on here, and spend forever resizing them so they meet the requirements to upload... gah! I may end up putting them in another place, like on the university server so that I wont have to mess with the resizing.
I hope to be able to post more regularly and get through the whole trip this week :)

On to London... This was by far my favorite place of all. I can definitely see me living here very soon, and enjoying it.
We arrived at Heathrow airport, which unknown to me was the best place to arrive, since the tube had a stop there :) I loved the tube, it was so easy to understand and follow, plus it was easy to get to most points without switching lines 3 or 4 times (like in Paris).
We stayed in a youth hostel in London, in Soho, and it was actually fairly nice. The first night we just walked around Soho, got some dinner and then went out to live it up.
We hit up a gay bar called Escape. When we were walking in the doorman looked at me and was like "this is a gay bar". I don't even want to think about how many chances I lost by having a girl hang with me the whole time... everyone thought we were a couple... DAMMIT!
So after I explained to him that I was well aware of the fact it was a gay bar (geez, the rainbow stickers all over the entrance was a giveaway) he just smiled and let us in.

That night I stayed up at the bar almost the whole time, I don't normally hang at the bar.... but the bartender was pretty fine, so I wanted to stay close in case he needed some help :) haha, I wish.
So I drank several beers, checked out lots of guys, but in the end went back to the room with a girl... gah!

The funny thing was that she was really drunk... and when we got back she ended up locking the key to her padlock in the cabinet which her padlock was locking... it was sooooo funny, she had to go get bolt cutters and cut the lock off and buy a new one!

The next day we were busy busy. We hit up Westminster Abby and Big Ben first, then went over to the tower and spent a lot of time there... I really liked the tower. We also went to the globe theater, she is a big Shakespeare fan. It was ok, but not sure it was worth 10 pounds... oh well.
We also went to the British museum, as well as spent a lot of time in Hyde park... that place is beautiful. Then we took a stroll down to Buckingham palace and got some pictures of that. After all that, most of it walking, we were beat so we ate and went to sleep early.
The next morning we walked around Soho for a while again, then headed to the train station so we could head out to Amsterdam... Little did we know we were in for a major surprise then... but that I will leave for the next time :)

We were supposed to go from London to Brussels by train and then stay in Brussels for about 5 hours, then head to Amsterdam on a later train and experience the night life there... Notice I said supposed to :)

In keeping with our series of transportation problems, our train that was leaving London was about 1 hour late in leaving because of a strike by the Belgian RR workers! (I love our luck) As if this wasn't bad enough, our train going from Brussels to Amsterdam was canceled. So we ask for help in getting to Amsterdam, the worker tells us get on this train to second stop. Then take a train from there to Antwerp, then from Antwerp to Amsterdam... sounded so simple....haha, as if.

So we do as he said, about 30 minutes into the first train ride I know we are not where we are supposed to be... the second stop should have been at most 15 minutes away, and we hadn't made the first stop. Even though I know we are not on the right train, I decide we should stay till the second stop, maybe we misunderstood him or something and we were taking this train to Antwerp... NO such luck.
So we get off at the second stop, having no clue what country we are in, where we are, etc.
Turns out we are still in Belgium, in a city called Brugg... I guess this is actually a neat town to visit, I wish we would have stayed there instead of going to Amsterdam.
So we are about as far away from where we needed to be that we could be and still be in Belgium.
So we find a more helpful worker, he save the day and tells us what to do, and even gives us a printout :) So we make it to Antwerp and then to Amsterdam.
We only ended up in Amsterdam about 1 hour later than expected, but we didn't get to spend the 5 hours in Brussels.

So we get to Amsterdam, and we decide that we aren't going to try the stay up all night thing. So we find a nice hotel, near the station that was fairly reasonable. So we drop some stuff off in the room and go out.
I got approached 6 times to buy cocaine that night... that pissed me off. Then we eat at a place and end up getting sick the next day from it... I hated the night life there, I mean unless you want to do drugs its not worth anything. I thought it would be different, like you could get some beers and have fun, but nope. So we head back to the room before we get robbed.
The next day wasn't so bad, the town was ok during the daytime. We took a canal ride in a boat which was neat, then walked all around the city, and spent a lot of time just sitting and absorbing things so far.
I doubt I would go back to Amsterdam, definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it. Its more of a say I've been there type of place.

Well our train from Amsterdam to Switzerland took about 10 hours, and was an overnight train. It was the most uncomfortable 10 hours of my life. When I reserved our couchettes I didn't think to specify that I wanted the lower ones...so we ended up with top level ones... that sucked enough (I always hated top bunk, etc.) but add the fact that they were about 2 feet too short for me to sleep comfortable, and that the guy on the bottom was snoring so loud I could hear him over my headphones on level 6. Needless to say I got no sleep, well maybe 2 hours of bad sleep.
The only good thing about ride was that the conductor was cute :) When he came in to wake us in the morning and looked up and said "Guten Morgan" (or however it is spelled) I was thinking I could wake up to that every morning

So we get to Bern finally, cant check into our hotel until 3pm... so that sucked. Luckily the hotel let us leave our packs there so we didn't have that added discomfort for the 7 hours we had to walk around town.
I really liked the town, it was beautiful, but expensive. We just walked around all day, went to the bear pits, etc. Then we checked into the hotel and slept a lot that evening/night. The next day we left fairly early for Milan. The train ride from there to Milan was the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen. Going through the Alps, omg I could definitely get a nice little cabin and stay there for a few weeks every year.
I promise the pics are comin soon :)

So we get to Milan around 2 I think and lets just say I hated it. I knew things had changed as soon as we crossed the border. The Italians came on the train with dogs, and armed guards, and questioned only one guy in our compartment, because of his skin color... that pissed me off.
Then Milan itself was very dirty, and the smell was horrible. We walked around for a bit and then just gave up and went to our room. The hotel was decent at least. Plus the tv had free 24hr porn, haha... too bad it wasn't the right kind.
Overall I thought the people that we dealt with were also very rude there. I tried to speak Italian (which I don't do very well), but it was more like I was insulting them by trying. I also didn't like the view of all the towns we went through on the train... overall I wasn't impressed with Italy. I doubt I will ever go back there again :(

WOO! I should be able to finish this up tomorrow with the last place we went, France (Nice, Caen and Paris). I am almost done with the pics too, so I should have them up somewhere soon!! (!) (!)

So we gladly left Milan early in the morning on our way for Nice. Again we could definitely tell when we left Italy and entered France. When we got off the train in Nice at it didn't start so well. We needed to make our reservations for the train ride the next night to Paris. We got our wait slip with a 20 minute wait estimated. No problem... well about 1.5 hours later we finally get up to the window. It was horrible waiting in there, because it was so hot in that little office... but we got our reservations ok, and this time we got bottom couchettes, which rocked.
So we headed out for our hotel... I let my friend do the navigating here, because she spoke french, or so she said...
So she finally gets us to what she thought was the hotel... wrong! We looked like idiots I am sure, but the lady was nice enough to give us some directions to the real hotel we had booked.
So we get there, and check in. I was really worried about this hotel because when I booked it it was so cheap, like $65 per night, and was listed only as a 2 star... well it turned out to be the best one we had. It was set up like a studio, so we had a fridge, stove, microwave, etc. It was also very close to the beach, which ruled.
So the first day we headed to the beach, well we really only had 1/2 a day. Unfortunately it was about to storm, so we sat out on the beach until it started to rain, then walked to a grocery store to get some stuff for dinner. Then that night we just walked around town for a bit, and turned in early. I really loved the beach, and just the atmosphere there... the people were nice and helpful.
The next day we woke up early, and walked up to the Archaeology Museum (that was a longer walk than the map indicated, plus I think we took the long ass way to get there) I really liked the museum, we walked around inside for about an hour or so then went outside to the ruins. We spent a lot of time there as well. I wanted to go swimming at the beach really bad, but I didn't want to mess with not having a place to leave my stuff, or a place to shower after we got out... so we opted to just sit on the beach again for a couple hours... I could've done that for an entire day and been happy, it was just so beautiful.
Unfortunately the train station has some construction or something going on so the place where the lockers for our baggage was closed... so we had to carry it around all day, and that sucked a lot... that bag gets heavy after walking for several hours.
I really want to go back to Nice again and stay for about a week. There were a couple of museums I wanted to go to, but we didn't have time/money. I also want to go to the beach and swim. I would love to stay in the same hotel again too, it was just awesome.
We left Nice that evening for Paris. It was an overnight train, and we had the bottom couchettes, so it was a little more comfortable. The conductor wasn't nearly as nice, but at least there was only one other person in there with us... he was kinda cute.
We got to Paris and then headed straight for Caen, hoping to make it up to the landing beaches for the Normandy invasions, but we got there too late to be able to do it. We instead went to a Peace museum in Caen, and spent several hours there. It was really nice and many parts were moving as well. We headed back that night for Paris, and luckily got a taxi driver who could find our hotel. We didn't do anything else that night as it was kinda late and we knew we were starting early the next day.
Ok, so tomorrow I will finish up with Paris, I am about to head out for dinner with some people from school.

Well this is the last one, finally its all done!

So our final stop was Paris. After returning from Caen, the next day in Paris we got up early and headed to the Louvre. I swear I could spend a week in each wing of that place. We went through most of the Denton wing, definitely saw the mona lisa, and a few other italian paintings.
Next we headed down the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. From there we walked down to the Eiffel Tower and took som great pics from across the river. We sepnt a lot of time there as well before heading to Napolean's tomb.
That took most of the day, so after that we headed to the hotel for a shower and some rest.
The next day was more relaxed. We went to a few parks, and to St. Sulprice and Notre Dame.
We also headed back to the Eiffel Tower again. After waiting for 3 hours for my friends to go to the top, we headed back to the hotel as it was getting late.
The next day we flew back to the US.... got home super late, and that sucked.
It was different coming back into the US... the people were different, the landscape, everything.
I was ready to go back by the time we landed :(
I cant wait for the next trip!

Ok, I know some of you have been looking forward to this, as have my parents and friends... so here is the link where you can find some of the pics from my trip to Europe. I haven't put any from Paris up yet, as I still have to sort those pics and name them, but everywhere else is done.
Europe Pics

I will let everyone know when Paris is up, also I am getting copies of my friends pics so when she sends them to me I will scan some of them in and post them as well (should have some of me I hope).

***Since it is a free site, there might be problems with bandwidth... right now it isn't letting me view, probably because I just uploaded like 7.5Mb of files. Keep checking back.

Well I gave up on the free site... I mean one person couldnt even look at all the pics before it messed up... so I broke down and paid for a site. The new site to my europe pictures is here. Let me know if there are any problems, I have a significant higher bandwidth available, and more space... so perhaps I can get some of the videos online too...

I'll update here whenever I get the other pics online.

Thats right, I said it, the L word....

I used to think I was a liberal, but based on the people that I go to school with that say they are liberals.... I guess I am not. These people seem more to me like the narrowminded fuckheads that.... well, I dont want to get nasty.

I mean when the "liberals" are trashing homosexuality more that the conservatives, whats goin on? I guess I am just some extreme left wing monkey or something.
I hate the midwest. I cant wait to get the hell out of here and try to find a place where the self appointed religious leader of the US wont know I am alive. I guess there are a few blue states out there....

Well, I finally got got all of the pics sorted, named, etc.
I selected the best ones and put them on the site. I am still trying to figure out how to get my videos on there, the upload program wont allow files over 5MB, and when I ftp them the files get corrupted... but I will figure it out somehow.
Here is the link again if anyone wants to take a look:

Europe Pics

BTW, I did add more pics to the directories that have been up for a while too... so check them out as well as the paris ones.

I got a package today, holy shit it was a shock. Finally got the pics from my friend who went to Europe with me... I forgot she took 18 rolls of film... yes, I said 18!

Well, I am gonna spend the evening looking at these, then I will scan the good ones in and update my website.

Well its been a while since I last updated my blog, so here goes....

For the most part last week was fairly uneventful. I spent a lot of time working in my lab getting ready for the upcoming research. On monday I head up to the Air force base to start my work for the next 8 weeks, right up till the start of classes for next semester.
I seriously dont feel ready. I am afraid after the first week they are gonna be like get lost, you know nothing.... at least I have my advisor with me, and I really only have to work with him... so he can help me a lot.

I went out saturday night with some friends from here. We were having a going away party for a friend of ours who is leaving tomorrow for Turkey, where she is from. I dont know her very well, but I sure as hell am gonna miss her. She is a great person, and will be missed. Next week we lose another one, hes goin back home to Pennsylavia... not as far, but still. They are about the only two that are leaving that I give a damn about really. The others for the most part, well it will be a change but not necisarially a bad change.
We went to some clubs, drank some beer, danced some... I cant believe I danced, but there is just something about it, you hear the music and you start moving, its unstoppable.

Sunday I went home to visit my dad. We had a late lunch, then all of us (mom, sis, dad and me) went up to my grandpas. A couple of my aunts were there, and everyone looked at the 600+ pictures that I brought from the trip. There are the ones my friend took, since all of mine are digital.
That was a job, explaining everything to everyone, I had to do it like 5 times, it got draining. I was amazed at the fact that I could still look at random pictures and remember them.
I drove home, and watched some TV and then went to bed.
Today I got to go to lunch with 2 of the new incoming grad students in physics. They were ok. One seems to be a little too uptight for me, but maybe he was just nervous and all, so I'll give him another chance before I decide if I like him or not. Neither of them were drop dead cute, which is good. There are already too many of them, it would be too hard to concentrate if they were in my dept.!
I am going camping this weekend, with 4 of my friends... it looks to be fun... its going to be in the 90's all the time, lots of sun... ewww.
Thats about it.

Well this past week was busy for me. First time in over a year I have actually had a "real" job. Other than my classes and teaching that is :)

I started working at the air force base on monday, and so far its a lot of fun. Always been a navy man myself, but oh well... I'll give the air force a chance.
Since I am commuting to the base (about 1hr 10min each way), then working 8+ hours, I dont have a lot of time to be on much. But I am still around.

The research I am doing is great, and could be very beneficial to home heating, the space program and even pollution control (distant future). There are of course military applications too, but that is also in the future.

Well this last week was a short one. We had Monday off, and we ended up leaving a few hours early on Friday. We had some major equipment problems, so after we got those fixed we decided to give good old Murphy the finger and tell him to come back Monday. We jetted out of there.
I managed to get some data taken this week, which is good. I have enough data to probably occupy a solid 5 hours of my life to just graphing it... I hate Microsoft.

Friday night was fairly un-eventful. One of my friends is trying to convince me to blow off the Babylon Tour next weekend and go camping with them. Fuck that. We were supposed to go on the weekend before the 4th. I cancelled some plans I had sorta made but not confirmed to go camping, and then they back out. I am not changing my schedule again. They can either work around it, or go without me. I am looking forward to the Babylon Tour! Lots of dancing, music, beers, and of course boys :)
Then the next weekend (July 23) my parents are coming over to my place for the day! They always gripe about how I don't come home enough to visit. I finally convinced them that the road actually goes both ways, so they can come here too. They are only doing it because my sister is here too now, or at least till the end of the month. Then she goes back to her school. This means I have to do my super clean mode. I always keep my place very clean, but my mom can find dirt anywhere... so I always try to stump her :) Also means I have to de-homofiy my apt. for the day. It sucks not being out to my parents, but I think I will tell them soon enough.
Oh yea, so now back to the actual point of this blog... talking about my weekend (July 9,10).
Yesterday I went over to Indianapolis to hang out with a friend. We went to the mall and did some arcade games. I had to show him up at throwing the football, and one racing game (oyes). Then we checked into our room and watched some TV... If you ever go to Indy (not sure why anyone would), I highly recommend this place. Its called The Old Northside INN. Just google it, its a small B&B. The room we got was awesome... had a library, and a huge jacuzzi O:)

After that we went out to dinner, played some pool (I won 2/3 of those games), then some darts (I won 0/2) of that. Then we headed back to the room, watched some TV, played some cards, and well... the rest is a secret. :-$

Well I think I am going to take a nap soon, didn't sleep much/well last night... and then do laundry, and get ready for the stretch next week.

... well most of it anyway.

This weekend started off great. I was about to leave work Friday, when the main research scientist that works for the government in our building came in to talk to us. He told me about a program I should try for, where the government would pay my tuition, and pay me a salary as well to work 20hrs a week, doing the same thing I am with this summer program. Now in the end, when all things are accounted for (gas mainly) I am going to come out losing money based on what I would get by just doing the teaching thing again. The thing is tho, I would be a full-fledged government employee... which totally gets my foot in the door for my career.
Friday night was ok, except I drank too much beer, and stayed up too late. Then sat. we left for Cleveland for the Ancient Babylon tour. It was the worst drive ever. It rained almost non-stop. I couldn't see much of the time. Then we got to sit on the Interstate for 30 minutes at a complete stand still because of a wreck. It sucked. People were out of their cars, guys were playing football in the construction zone, etc. On a positive note, many of the guys walking on the interstate were cute :)
So finally we get to the hotel (after making a wrong turn, missing and exit, etc). By this time it was too late to take a nap before the Babylon thing, so that sucked.
The Babylon tour was kind of a disappointment. Last year it just seemed to be better planned, and executed, but of course that is mostly due to the club not the tour. There were a lot of cute guys running around, dancing, etc. So we stayed till about 1am, then headed back to the room... since we had to get up at 7am.
The reason that I had to get up so early is because on the drive up, my mom called to tell me that the doctors are fairly sure my grandpa has lung cancer. So I wanted to drive to the hospital today, which is near Louisville, Kentucky. So I made the 4 hour drive back to my place, then my sister came over and we made the 2.5 hour drive to the hospital.
Based on the expressions and information I gathered while at the hospital, they think its bad, real bad. They will know more tomorrow after a test. So this totally has me depressed right now.
So I have gotten like 10 hours sleep since I woke up Friday morning at 7am. I am so tired I cant stand it, yet I cant sleep either... too many things on my mind.
I can already tell work is going to suck tomorrow. And I have to go talk to some people about that program, and I know I am going to feel/look like shit.
Oh well, here's hoping this week is better.

Update on my grandpa:
Well, I finally found out that the doctors dont think its cancer anymore. It still could be, but its looking more and more like it is not. Thats the good news.
The bad news is they dont have a clue what is wrong with him now.
They have some more tests scheduled for friday, and hopefully something comes of that. I know it definitely brought a HUGE sense of relief to us all knowing that cancer is not the top choice anymore.

Things are going well with my research. I have more than enough data to write my thesis, as well as keep me busy analyzing for the next year. Things are starting to get interesting, we are seeing results that were not expected, nor can we yet explain them. Its so cool to be working on the cutting edge of research, knowing that there are literally 5 people in the world working on this stuff, and that I am 1 of them, and I know 2 more of them very well.

I should get more information about possibly doing a co-op with the government during my spring semester. That will be awesome, cause they will pay me GS-9 wages, which is over 40k a year if I do 40hr weeks. I wont be doing anywhere near that, since I will still be in school... but having worked as a gs-9 will already move me up for a higher pay grade when I do get a full time job with them.

This upcoming weekend will be the first weekend in over a month that I have actually gotten to stay home. I cant wait. I am going to sleep most of Saturday, and then do some shopping. Sunday I dont know if I even want to get out of bed... haha.
I wish I could do that, but I know I will wake up bright and early and find something to do.
I used to always complain that I never did anything, or got to go places.... well I think I like the having no life schedule better than the having the packed life schedule. I need that happy medium, every other weekend off type of thing :)

Well, now I am trying to plan my trip for spring break. I dont think I can convince my mom to go to London with me, in fact she will be mad if I go there. She's very overprotective... but that just comes with being a mom I guess. I cant convince her that things are just as likely to happen here... guess its cause its not presently happening here.
I wanna go somewhere fun, and not too expensive. I will most likely be on my own, so that kinda limits things. I was thinking Spain... but I might just go back to Ireland. I really wish I knew German. I want to go explore Switzerland some more. I might try to pick some up this fall, but I will be taking Russian classes for that upcoming trip, so I dont want to overload things.
If anyone has suggestions, let me know.

Well its 8pm, I have eaten dinner, done laundry, and washed dishes. I think its time to sit back, watch some tv, surf the web and then be in bed by 10 :)
