If you're a Apple person like me, you love your Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc. If you're also struggling with others who don't accept you for who you are, maybe this video will give you a little encouragement to keep going.

This is a video of several Apple employees sharing their experiences and how things got better for them. They're just like you, and they succeeded. The video is part of the Trevor Project, if you are familiar with it.

A very nice well put together video. Very moving, like all the other "It Gets Better" videos.

Apple are great supporters of the gay community. They took a very public stance against Prop 8 in California, making a substantial donation to the anti-Prop 8 campaign. Apple have offered equal benefits to employees with same-sex partners for many years, and were one of the first companies in California to do so. Apple's acting CEO Tim Cook, although not very public about it, is gay.

I got a bit teary watching the video. Thanks for posting it.

you confused me a bit here. with that headline, this intro and all this in this forum it sounds like the apple employees are speaking out for the poor repressed "different" apple fanbois
I was already ready to flame you :-< until I noticed that this is just a "classical" it gets better video.

Lol, I thought the same thing when I read the first paragraph. I was expecting a video telling you "it's okay to be a fanboi". Once "The Trevor Project" was mentioned in para 2 I understood. :-)

It gets better when Apple allows anti-gay apps in their store.

Just figured writing gay was redundant, considering the place we're reading. :)

And besides us Apple folk aren't repressed anymore these days, now we're the oppressors! :)
