I'm going to have to wait until it's ported to another platform, either the 360 or PC. Don't know if that will ever happen. Although there is a slight chance I could owner a PS3 a little later down the road should I ever decide to get a blu-ray player. The Metal Gear games were entertaining, despite the always flawed controls and camera.

I watched a video review of it. I felt uncomfortable watching an old man it tights. I don't know if I could play a whole game having to constantly see old guy butt. Although if you can in fact play in first person, then that solves this problem.

I'd love to get it. Unfortunately I have the 20 gig PS3 and two other games with installs (GTA and DMC4) taking up all the space I would need for the MGS 4 installs.
Oh well.

I just finished the game now, 3:30 in the morning. Damn it's making me think hard.
First of all, the gameplay was amazing. Beautiful, fun, smooth, everything a MGS should be and I'm impressed by how much it was inovated from its past games. It was a blast to play.
Like all MGS games, this one pulled at my heart strings hard core, more then MGS3. Although I still don't understand half of the things in the game and what was what, mostly because I don't remember the past games too well and that I missed half the things that were being said, the characters and story were so freaking awesome. Meryl and Jonny, Raiden and Rose, Snake and everything about him. It really does make you think about life and analyse it. The ending was absolutely perfect.
Nothing more I can really say except that I won't be playing through it again to recieve that Big Boss rank or anything like that, at least not for a while. I can't go through that story again, unless I was to skip through all the cut scenes. I'm too emotional with video games. Sometimes it's hard to forget that these people aren't even real. I'm sure some people know what I mean by that. At the end of the day, it was a sad ending because the story was over, but it was such a happy one.
Everyone knows that this is the end of the MGS storyline. Think anything new will come out of this? A new saga of some sort?

I love the game! completed it 4 times now lol, trying to get all the iTunes and emblems, only got 2 iTunes left to get! 
Its quite an emotional game =/ I felt sad when I started Act 4 lol, made be buy Twin Snakes again.
Also... I hated the outcome! >=(
(won't say what it is incase some people haven't completed it yet).
But all-in-all, fucking amazing!
OH! and I know it sounds childish, but I loved it when Laughing Octopus said 'What a riot. People suffering... People hurting... People dying... It's all so FUCKING HYSTERICAL!' lol I love that scene so much! ^^
