True. I just think it would have been an ideal opportunity to settle the matter once and for all. He would then also have needed to hire people who could advise him better - which is a problem with too many stars and divas, they surround themselves with 'yes' people and lose their grip on reality. The ones who have 'no' people amongst their aides are the ones that stay more focussed and 'steady'.

Two thousand dollars? No way in hell a parent of a child who claimed to have been molested by Michael Jackson would settle for $2,000. Hasn't the American justice system taught you anything? Money heals pain.

Likely pedophile is false, the courts have found him innocent, he was a mere victim of litigious families wanting to get a piece of his fortune. It was his fault for putting himself in such a vulnerable position, however. Even though the two families INSISTED their kids spend nights at his house, if he were wiser he would have said no.

No offense to either of them. They were great at their jobs, and were just amazing.

But they are no Michael Jackson. I don't mean to offend anyone, but that is just truth.

It is plausible that someone wouldn't know who Farah Fawcett or Ed Mcmahon is. I didn't know Ed was, and still don't know what he did. But if you don't know who Michael Jackson is, you must have lived under a rock for your entire life.

i agree, the guy was troubled, but i do think he also gave a lot of wonderful things to the world, you make a mistake and people tend to remember you like that....altough i don't think the whole molesting children thing was just 'a mistake' but we're not sure if that happened and we'll probably never know.

Also, everyone is entitled to their opinion, if someone thinks he was a bastard or an idol, that's up to them, i don't see why people freak out so much.

I liked Farrah more, but it's undeniable that we just lost two huge talents.
