ugg!!! those pictures suck!!!

Michael Jackson has broken his silence with a letter to his fans.

The singer addressed the letter to the members of his European fanclub and included news of his current activities.

Hinting that he might be releasing his first new studio album since 2001's Invincible, Jackson wrote: "I've been really busy lately...Soon I will be sharing exciting and surprising news with you from my other efforts."

The singer was rumored to be working with Black Eyes Peas frontman Will.I.Am and rapper Kanye West in a studio in Ireland.

According to a printed letter leaked by fan site Mjeurope.eu, Jackson wrote: "I've been really busy lately...Your continued love and support means so much to me. I really love and appreciate you all...from the bottom of my heart."

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence

Invincible supposedly took six years, seven producers, and $30 million. And it most assuredly DIDN'T show. It wasn't awful or anything, but it sounded like a bunch of enh-whatever album tracks. I wish he'd just buckle down with a collaborator or two and just CRANK IT OUT. Don't get fussy or over-analytical or precious or what have you. Just write some songs and SING THEM.

The only song I've ever liked by him was smooth criminals when it was sung by AAF =P

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence

You may not like the guy, but you have to admit that his imprint is all around today. Kanye West, Will.I.Am and the rest of the flavors of the month owe Michael Jackson big time.

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence

I have nothing but respect for his triumverate of LPs - Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad (although the third is a half step belowthe first two). But since then - that's 1987, twenty years ago - we've had increasingly insular albums, and fewer memorable singles ("Black or White", "Stranger in Moscow" and "Butterflies" are about the best of the bunch). I definitely know "once a hit, always a threat", but since he's now living not just on a ranch of yes-men, but a NATION of yes-men, I'm doubting he'll be really challenging himself on this next effort.

Every Black Artist Today, Owe Their Sucess To Michael jackson, He Was The First Black Artist To be Shown on MTV, Without Michael, We Wouldnt have Usher (not That i Care About Usher "No Talent" Raymond) ANd We Would Probably Not Have Any other Black Artists! So Respect Michael Jackson, And Michael jackson Did not Touch Them Boys, Just Parents Trying To Get Money Out Of Him!

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence

>>>He Was The First Black Artist To be Shown on MTV.

This canard has been tossed around a lot, but it's not really accurate. For instance, on the very first day of MTV programming, they showed videos by ska bands such as the Specials. True, these bands were multi-racial, not exclusively black. And they appealed (in America anyway) mainly to the white new wavers. But recall that in 1981, when MTV signed on, cable was almost exclusively a suburban (read: white) phenomenon anyway. Michael Jackson was probably the first SOUL artist to get significant airplay on MTV, and after that, the floodgates were open.

Umm yeah Michael Jackson was the first black video to to been shown on MTV so get straight player, with out him there would be no lava of luv

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence

Excuse me, but thats total bullshit.

Many a man(and woman) came before Michael.

Not every black artist is an aspiring popstar, ya know.

EXcuse Me, But Thats not Total Bullshit!

they may have came before him, but the face of music would be drastically different if michael were never played on MTV!

So Why Dont You Just Go Fuck Yourself, Mr. Know-It-All!

Re: Michael Jackson breaks the silence
