No matter who believes what about him, we all have demons or parts of our lives that others may not agree with, thats what makes us different. I liked MJ the entertainer but didn't like MJ the person from everything I read and heard and not just in the National Enquirer or the other garbage papers or rags, whatever they are called. Lets face it he was a high profile person so it naturally got more attention, the press feeds on things like that, everyone knows that. I just want it to be over with regarding the attention that he is getting. I want to listen to a radio station and hear other music besides his. I want to watch tv news or other shows without him being the entire show. I want to pick up a newspaper without him being on the front even the sports pages. I read somewhere that someone wants to make his funeral a national day of mourning. Does anyone remember 911? Has anyone suggested a National day of mourning for that, I don't think so. I know I shouldn't bring 911 into this and I'm sorry I am. But if anything should get a day of mourning or a holiday for that matter is 911 not an entertainers passing regardless of who it is.

I feel sorry for the kids, whether they are his or not. They are being drawn into this mess and may never be the same. I hope that people show them compassion and not use them somehow, someway.

I was not going to say anymore about this but I just had to.

I know I'm opening the door for someone to tear me apart by my comments but I'll take that chance.

I'm in the camp of "he raised them...they're his kids no matter who the sperm donor is" but I'll add that I won't believe anything until I hear about a legal paternity test.

We are going by his Neverland Ranch tomorrow and check it out.

His ranch is only 30min from our house and already there is huge traffic to the area.

But He was a gifted, talented, trouble, misunderstood, and had his ups and downs.

But I will always remember his music and his great talent for dancing unbelievably good.

There will never be another MJ.

Sad to hear all the stuff coming in the news about his drug use but I guess thats the way he could coupe with all the trouble he had in his life.

I do hope they make his ranch a memorial place like Graceland as that will bring his life to share with all who wish.

But there is going to be thousands of people here, area is bracing for a huge turn out for him....

I can't say that I was a big fan, but I liked quite a few of his songs. Despite the scandals he really helped shaped the pop music industry.

Plus don't all great artists have their problems? lol

I never realized how much of a fan I really was until after he passed away. Actually, I didn't even know I was a fan until now. You see his videos and hear his music played over and over again and you realize his impact not just to the music industry but to our culture in general. He truly was an icon.

This is one reason why these kids will always be in the public eye. It's too bad that the rich and powerful can be so insular and have the ability to avoid the consequences of their actions until it is too late. And will money always be able to buy MDs willing to let patients dictate their own demise?

What a tragedy that such a cute and later handsome kid couldn't face the "man in the mirror."

bluedragon was being disrespectful to the dead and all of us who are fans of MJ.
this is a thread to commemorate a great man, if you didn't like him, why do you comment? why would you spit out your negative comments about a legend beloved by millions that has just died, first and foremost people should have respect for the recently deceased.

i barely knew who the hell farrah fawcett was, but i wouldn't say things like "who cares that she's dead" coz i'm an actual human being and not scum...
