Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

>>>Just goes to show his legend will never die.

Well, no. Just goes to show that they know an opportunity when they see one.

Lex
Well that is true. But I doubt they would be playing a day of Kelly Clarkson right now if she died.

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

That is sad.....

But you know what ? I'll still wake up tmw, go to work tmw, and live my life...

what disgust me the most is people pretending to be sad, and saying nice things just coz he's dead when they were bashing him before.

i said naughty things about him, and made fun of him, his death's not gonna make me say positive things about him now...

Why medias & people would suddenly change their mind and praise him when 5 months before he was just a naughty pedophile

Re: Red necks comments on Jackson death vs. JUB

Madonna ????
thats what i was thinking at first. i was like "did madonna change his username"

back to topic: do you expect less from JUB really?

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

I strongly suspect it was his unhealthy, dysfunctional, and generally stressful life style and life history that brought him down. "The mighty hath fallen..." He is is God's hands tonight. There's nothing we can do for him except honor his memory as the King of all things, pop.

His family, on the other hand, still has a chance to make it--just a chance, not a guarantee. But they need to pray, and we need to pray for them, that they might record some decent songs and sell many hit records to come. R.I.P. brother.

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

Well, celebrity deaths always tend to come in 3's, for some very strange reason.

1) Ed McMahon
2) Farrah Fawcett

and now ...

3) Michael Jackson

Two in one day, too.

What can I say ... I enjoyed his music, and he was definitely a pop culture icon that will forever be remembered.

It's just a damn shame that he entered "pedophilia mode", which completely tarnished his career.

I suppose it's possible it was a suicide, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was stress-related, with preparing to go on a tour Overseas, combined with thinking about his legal troubles ... and the fact he was financially broke. We'll have to wait for the details.

They'd probably try. :)

I saw that Smokey Robinson was lined up to be a guest on Larry King tonight to talk about Michael Jackson. And I got to thinking. I actually think Smokey Robinson is a much more talented guy than Michael was. This isn't a dis on Michael in any way, and yeah, Smokey couldn't dance the way Michael could. But I think his body of work - both as a writer and performer - is stellar. But I doubt Smokey's passing will rate more than a mention anywhere.

 I was reluctant to click on this thread because I knew a few dejected bitter queens would make it their business to slander the man. By doing so, you only proved your sadness with life.

No, not necessarily. I was never a fan of his. I never owned one of his albums and I never went out of my way to hear his music.

However, I and many others grew up with him and we watched him create what could very well be a magnificent career, and then we watched him throw it all away.

Whatever his life was, it was of his own creation and it could have been so much more.

I don't know why your surprised. This is humanity, and in western culture, unless it's Hitler, you don't slander a mans name in death. It is considered all types of tasteless.

And you can still respect a guy for his work while disliking his personal life. Despite his problems in his personal life, no one ever tried to slander his legend or his work in music. (well his older music)

R.I.P:(

That's right! Preach on man! He was certainly no angel. But he was far from the devil some made him out to be. When a man runs into problems and the money isn't flowing the way it used to, the people that were at his feet are suddenly at his throat. Sometimes we need to leave the judging up to the original Judge.

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

I can't believe it! It his kids I feel sorry for. :(

RIP Michael Jackson!

Who said the kids aren't better off?

Doesn't that ammount to the same thing?

But he left a legacy that won't be forgotten in our lifetimes or for many more generations.

Acts like MJ and Madonna are not remembered for their good music.

Sorry. I Wish I Believed In Hell So I Would Find Some Pleasure In Knowing That Is Exactly Where He Would Rot. Fucking Pedophiles Deserve No Respect Regardless How Much Money They Have To Cover Their Sins. Only Regret Is That It Didn't Happen Sooner.

The kids's parents got handsome settlements.

Smokey would get almost the same amount of coverage if he died tomorrow. He probably wouldn't get wall to wall playing of his music on MTV (did he even make music videos?) and the coverage of his death probably would stop an hour earlier than Michael's but it would be all over the place.

Re: Red necks comments on Jackson death vs. JUB

@The OP:you are indeed correct! While we have some good people who post here; "some" are simply bitter, dejected, racist, elitist Queens whom are depressed and angry at life.

They should kill themselves

I protest!

I'm not elitist.

Re: Red necks comments on Jackson death vs. JUB

After reading of Jackson's death on a local TV stations site I checked the comments there. The site is loaded with trailer park buffons, red necks, & back woods crusted over seniors living in Fossil Park.
But some of the JUB posters already top the nasty and shit remarks at this early stage compared to the bitter twisted trolls on the local red neck, hate filled TV station. Nah, there are as many post on that site but more nasty ones here,...so soon!
Sort of suprised me that guys here would have such nasty shit to say so shortly after his death, but then I thought about it . Not really.
Way to go what a tolerant bunch of twits.

Do you think it has something to do with the pedophilia with young boys, and it giving the Gay Community a bad name?

Now that was totally out of line.

I honestly don't think so. I think the general response would be "Who? Oh, that guy who sang 'Tears of a Clown'? Huh."

But let's hope I don't find out for many years. :)

And I bet they had to look him up in either Google or in Wiki to find out that bit of information.

Re: [merged] Michael Jackson Dies at 50

This is what Sarah Silverman had to say about Michael's death:

Did you hear Michael Jackson's kids are free? That's not nice. I'm sorry. Ugh, I feel bad for saying that. LOOK A BLUE CAR!

Now don't call her names. She's just trying to be funny, not the best moment but I got the joke. I kinda giggled.
