He was a big star, he died. We've celebrated his music and his life and its time to move on. But the media are obsessed with it now and it would take something major to happen at the moment to bump this from the front pages.

What annoys me is the usual revisionist history that goes on when someone like this dies. They get elevated above their actual place.

Greatest performer ever? He didnt tour enough to earn that title.

Great lyricist? He didnt write the song "Thriller" or most of the songs on "Off the Wall". His later albums were bogged down with armies of songwriters and producers. And nobody can name a truly great line he ever wrote.

Great vocalist? In the 70s, yes. In the 80s, he became obsessed with those silly yelps and nonsense words.

Genius? The word is over-used. Quincy Jones was the man behind the curtain.

Did he change the face of music? Not in my opinion.

Thriller was when he looked his best.......he should have stopped after that. Bad is where he really started to change. He still didn't look strange just it was very noticble. I would not have messed with him. but he was very cute during Thriller

The story is untrue.

As soon as I heard about it, I went to CNN. Nothing.

Then, I went to MSNBC. Nothing.

Then, I went to FOX. Nothing.


Given the 24/7 Michael Jackson coverage, if this story were true, it would be all over television. But it isn't. Instead, all we see are people quoting blog and other gossip sites. Now, which site is more credible for news? http://sjsandteam.wordpress.com or a major news network like CNN?

I never believed he was a molestor. Because of his kind nature and openess and generousity..people saw it as a bad thing and others took advantage of it and took Michael for millions of dollars and always fueled by their greedy parents.

Never found him attractive. Never thought he was ugly or anything when he was in his original state, just nothing speciaL. After he started the surgeries he just looked plain old weird.

I PERSONALLY don't think he ever molested anyone! Although I wish it was (and I believe this statement probably is) true, there has been no major news station confirming this confession. Although I think it would be nice if these fuckers would actually grow a pair and admit they lied to clear the poor mans name, you ruined his life an career, come out and tell the truth so he can truly rest in peace

I have a hard time believing it was viteligo. That shows up as splotches of white on dark skin and he never at any time showed any of that. He wanted to be a white boy.
