The guy is pretty entertaining though. Not many people possess the charisma he has.
 
I find it hard to get addicted to hatemongering idiots like Savage.

Maybe it's just me.
 
Please, don't mention Savage as a member of my tribe (IE: Jewish).

I'm on the conservative side of the political spectrum, and he turns my stomach. Whenever I hear his lunatic ranting and raving I immediately change the station.

Perhaps he should be tortured as we allegedly have done to some Al Qada terrorists by forcing him to listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers...or even better, Rosie Odonnell!

Hate speech exists on both sides of the debate. And I do resent that Savage calls himself a conservative, or for that matter an American. He belongs with David Duke in the KKK, and does not represent what I consider to be conservative views.

However, he has a right to say what he wants...free speech and all that...and although I would defend his right to say it, as I said I will take very opportunity to avoid listening to him excercie that right.

Hey, it's not my fault that he has a forum for his views. Probably no left-wing hate speaker approaches that...especially now that Air America has gone down the tubes.

But Michael Moore, Jenine Garafolo and Al Franken come to mind...but I only say that from hearsay since I've never watched a Michael Moore film, and Air America never made it to the Boston market.

Do you really believe there are no left wing bomb throwers?

Savage is an extreme lunatic. He hates everything and everybody. I think he sleeps with Pat Buchanan - they are birds of a feather.

But lets not drag JUB posters on the left or right down to the Savage level. Most comments are well thought out...and even the comments that may appear abit harsh are done so to make a point. I've had many good debates with those on the far left, and I've come to respect them and enjoy reading their opinions. We all learn from each other through the free exchange of opinions and ideas.
 
You can't agree with everything anybody says, but there are some things I agree with Michael Savage on. I'm 100% for Borders, Language, and Culture.

And he will bash Republicans almost as much as liberals. He constantly makes fun of Limbaugh who he says is "living in a dream world" and calls O'Reily the "leprechaun." :lol:

I've read some of Frankens stuff, and heard interviews with Michael Moore and Janine Garafolo...seem pretty much like bomb throwers to me. But I agree, they certainly do not have the audience that right-wing hate radio like Savage has.

He is so wrong and so hateful about all of us in the GLBT community that I can't take anything he says seriously.

If Michael Savage came up with the cure for AIDS, I'm convinced he'd withhold it.

I hope he dies a slow, painful death and that I get to watch.
 
i've to say that while flipping through the am stations, he does have that voice and way of capturing an audience. He says alot of stuff i don't agree with and yet i can listen to his viewpoints with objectivity

Yet, they continue to put out this, this refuse in the sewer pipe. And then, they give themselves awards. So, we can talk about that. In fact, we have the -- the trailer, if you want to call it that. I hate using the word, because that also has negative connotations. But even the word "trailer" has to be rethought. We have the trailer for "Bareback Mounting." Let's hear it.

And yet, all you hear about is "Bareback Mountain," "Bareback Mountain," "Bareback Mountain," "Bareback Mountain," "Shmareback (ph) Mountain," Transvestia, Transvestia! It's nonsense. It's a lie! The people in America have voted. And they voted, and they said: "We don't want your vile filth."

I'm aghast at how many people here are excusing Michael Savage. He's one of the gravest enemies the GLBT community has, and yet here I'm reading "Oh, he's not so bad...sometimes I agree with him...he's just an entertainer...yada yada yada."

He's an evil man who makes his fortune by spreading lies, anger and hatred.

That's pretty bad, in my book.
