A Florida principal has resigned after students at a Christian charter school in Tallahassee were shown the statue of the biblical figure David by Michelangelo, prompting at least one parent to complain that the children had been exposed to pornography.

Classic art from the Greek Classic Era has invariably deemed to not be pornographic. The Victorian version is, well, Victorian, and appears embarrassingly bourgeoise.

David is absolutely not too explicit to be shown 6th-graders. It might be not age-appropriate for early primary ages, but that's up to the teacher, not the Board.
