Michelle Duggar has a miscarriage

You'll get the bolded... They won't stop until she's dead.

It's not like she's a person or anything.

(If you think I'm being dramatic, Google "Quiverfull" and "Gothard" and "ATI".)

Trust me, I know. I haven't come into contact with any of the quiver full believers, but I have been in contact with extreme fundamentalism.

Women not allowed to wear pants, cut their hair, go to college, work, etc. etc. Their only purpose is to be subservient to whichever man "marries" her.

I believe the specifics of the quiver full situation is that she is to continue attempting to bear children regardless.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

Pretty much. In their eyes, If she uses hormonal birth control, she's an abortionist (because they fail science forever), if she abstains from sex then she's not doing her duties as a wife (and her husband may have grounds to rape her), if she has a tubal ligation or he has a vasectomy then they are in defiance of God's will.

There's no way out except death or menopause for her.

Ew the mother scares me when she talks.

If God was trying to send them a sign I'm pretty sure it would of happened a dozen kids ago.

Let's think about some statistics here. About 15-20% of pregnancies miscarry. it's not exactly shocking that a some one who has experienced this many pregnancies will have a miscarriage somewhere along the way. The idea that this is some sign that she should stop having children is a little ridiculous.

19 kids? That wasn't a miscarriage, the baby just slipped out.

Wow - i had no idea they were Mormons?

maybe she can get some pointers from KATE G. on how to hang onto multiple eggs -- maybe she can still get to 25 before she crashes -- if she has some multiple births - why fool around with one at a time -- tee hee

hopefully she is out of viable eggs now or will be shortly -- I seriously think she would rather die in childbirth and dosen't care about the brood she will leave behind - or she would just stop !!

like I get grilled into me every time I visit some of my relatives --
"The Lord will Provide" -- when the reality is that Mom and his Father-in-Law do a helluva lot of the providing.
