I'm asking again... is McCain really on the military's side?

1) Wants us in Iraq indefinitely (or beyond the time the Iraqi government wants us there).

2) Is talking tough to Russia seemingly inviting military confrontation.

3) The US soldiers want Obama instead of himself, a former honored POW, to be their leader.

McCain can't be on their side. If he's on their side, then soldiers and McCain have a weird way of showing it.

Are you kidding? Chance wouldn't be caught dead going over to Iraq to learn what most of us have already accepted what this war is all about ... including our men and women serving in the Armed Forces.

This is a priceless clip of McCain attending some MTV Forum during the Primaries. He was asked a question along these lines of why Ron Paul was at the time was receiving the most money out of Republicans and Democrats from Active Duty Officers in the Military.

Here was McCain's bitter response.

Notice how he emphasizes that it is a "fact" that the men and women are fighting because they "believe they are serving the cause of freedom". So, are they really, Senator, or is that what you simply think they believe (brainwashed to do)?

A few hundred service people contributing a a comparatively insignificant amount means very little. We're talking about $10k vs. $60k. It's votes that count in the end.
