Milk (2008)

I just got free passes from work to see it, before that I really didn't hear much about it. I checked out the trailer and I can't wait to see it now I will be going to see it one night next week.

I saw the film today. It was excellent.

It surprised me a little that about half of the people that were watching it were over 65. Maybe it has to do with the time of day we saw it. I don't know. But everyone enjoyed it. The audience clapped at the end. And seeing them come out of the theater, most had tears in their eyes. Lets hope that this film is changing at least a few minds for the better.

I had not heard of this movie until I saw a commercial earlier today... I really want to see it.

Well deserved. I hope that it win an oscar. :)

This movie is getting a wide release this Friday and I hope to God it's coming to Duluth!!!

Ok so I saw Milk tonight and I thought it was a fantastic movie, Sean Penn was awesome!! I think every young gay person should see this movie. If anyone questions the need for pride parades go see this movie. I was only 13 when he was
murdered and I do not recall hearing about it back then. It is definitely an education in the gay movement. Left me wanting to learn a lot more about the whole gay movement.

I've seen it, I left half way in though.

x_X guess it wasnt for me. I got in for free though.

I saw it on Sunday with my husband. It was great--an incredibly powerful film about how one person can help to bring about change. Sean Penn gave one of the best performances of his career.
This film touched me personally because I lived through this period of gay history-- I marched against the Briggs Ammendment, and against Anita Bryant, too! Harvey Milk showed that activism works-- I wish he were here now to lead us in the struggle for gay marriage.

this movie was straight up awesome. all the actors did an amazing job, i think that's what made the movie for me.

I'm gonna go on record right now predicting Best Picture and Best Actor Oscars.
