Hi guys,
I've got something to share and one or two questions to ask. It's about my balls or rather my ball. I'm missing my right testicle and I've had ambiguous feelings about that ever since it happened.
At age 14 I had a testicular torsion (the most excruciating pain I've ever felt in my entire life and never hope to feel again) that was left untreated for too long. It happened in the middle of a Friday night and I woke my parents because the pain made me vomit. They gave me a lot of painkillers (which helped somewhat) and said they'd wait to see what they should do until the morning. Unfortunately, that was the wrong decision. I will spare you the details about the swelling, but suffice it to say the doctor was very angry when we showed up in his practice on Monday morning because there was nothing he could do at that point any more other than refer me to a urologist.
I had surgery to fixate the other testicle to my sack so it couldn't happen to that one. The right one died off as it had been starved of oxygen for too long.
Now, this was 18 years ago and it still lingers at the back of my mind every now and then. Don't get me wrong, I got used to the feeling and my left ball has grown rather sizable (I think) in response to the right one missing. But I didn't dare wear tight speedos until about 6 years ago because I was convinced everyone would notice, and I still sometimes consider having cosmetic surgery to have a prosthetic replacement.
I've been in a loving relationship for over 12 years and my bf has never had any issues with it, and the other guys I've been with didn't seem to be bothered. It doesn't influence my sexual stamina at all, but sometimes I feel incomplete.
Now here come the questions (after the long explanation):
- Are there any other JUBbers who have the same issue (missing a nut) either due to testicular torsion, cancer or some other cause?
- If so, how did you handle it? Have you had a prosthetic put in, and if so, how do you feel about that?
- If so, can you enjoy ball play or is it awkward and perhaps painful for you (as it is for me)?
- If you have two balls like most of the world, have you ever been intimate with someone who had only one? How did you feel about that, did you notice it? (my bf says he didn't notice until I told him)
Thanks for reading this far.
