Probably a good thing you didn't if you have to work.

You're staying over??? You're kidding right?

Poor Dustin always so busy (*8*)

Hi Darren. (*8*) Yeah, it's starting to be bad again. :( Hopefully after September it'll slow down!

Cool, see if your cute assistant wants to share a sleeping bag with you. :D

Dan, dear, I AM the assistant! Senior Assistant Manager. Good thought, though! :D

Agreed.

Yes, I'm joking, but I swear there's that much work that I honestly should.

I've been staying up until about midnight lately to wrap things up.

Ok, good, lol. I've had to do that myself on occasion, especially during blizzards.

No blizzards. . . yet. This is Minnesota, so tomorrow there might be. Today it's Sunny and 81, though.

Blizzards and vikings in Minnesota

Seriously, though, Bill! Our weather is messed up some days.

Thankfully I haven't had to stay over at the office for any reason though.

Definitely, Darren! :)

Right. Lol

I'm thinking of playing hookie from work tomorrow and visiting this place instead.

Thanks! I really need a break from reality! Reality = Working nonstop! :(

How are you, Greg?

I forgot to post this last evening when I got home.

Approximately a month ago I posted about someone passing me in the shoulder.

I got feedback on why it was supposedly "okay" or "justifiable" to some.
(I vehemently DISAGREED with such feedback, too.)

Apparently the state of Minnesota, did, too.
I recall posting the specific statute here as well as on Facebook.

The city apparently thought some people needed a reminder (and I agree with them).

In the same area that I posted about before, this is now sitting:

attachment.php

The sign states,
"STATE LAW
Unlawful to Pass on Shoulder.
MN Statute 169.18 Subd 4"

Just glad to see the city upholding the law, and not just siding with those whom have ridiculous justifications for breaking the law.

(Yes, I realize that taking that picture I, too, was breaking the law, merely to make a point, which is still unlawful. As you can see from the photograph, there was no traffic in front of, nor behind me. If you look close enough in the pic, you can see the rear-view mirror is empty. ..|)

Which is exactly why states need to remind people, as in the case above. Bullshit if you ask me. Had I been a police officer that day I definitely would have pulled over the jackass that went around traffic. People don't understand that driving is a privilege. Some drivers think it's a right, and it's not. If you can't follow the states rules, then get off the road. That's my opinion. People give me crap for how slowly I drive and that's fine. The law is there for a reason, to protect us as citizens. Wanna disobey it, fine by me. Say something about my speed, drive your damn self next time. ;-)

Yeah. It seems people drive crazy everywhere. Now kids are texting, talking email on the phone.

One time I saw a guy shaving while he was driving.
