Hi, Dan. (*8*) It was an okay day, but busy nonetheless.

Got this e-mail at 4:15, AFTER my office hours.

"Dustin – In your absence next week, who’s your backup to do some JEs for me in SMARTFinance for {Client XYZ}, and to create/submit the UFARS file? Just trying to be ready so that I can wrap up loose ends and be ready for the audit on the 24th."

Oops. Hadn't even thought of that. I forwarded it to my supervisor. I'll deal with it at my meeting tomorrow. :lol:

See, that's what I don't understand. His title is "Senior Financial Manager", he can do it!

He knows how to do these things. Not my problem he doesn't have access to the UFARS File Upload system! :grrr:

I'm HIS assistant (Senior Assistant Manager) - he should know everything from the bottom up!

Payroll, Accounts Payable, Assistant Manager, AND Manager stuff! That irritates me.

Hell, I could do his job AND my own. Not simultaneously, mind you! :lol: I'd lose my mind.

I can do what he does, honestly. Aside from presenting at meetings. That I can't do!

I can do the rest of his job with my eyes closed. Okay, maybe not. I will need help.

But most of what the Managers do I am in tune to as well. Being a Co-Manager on a school helps, too.:lol:

As does attending the Manager meetings.

He's basically getting paid your salary Dustin from what you're saying. That is really ridiculous I agree he should know every aspect since he is the manager

Yeah, exactly. So dumb. Hell I know how to do all of that shit, why doesn't he?

I think he's just lazy. He can do that in our Skyward system why not SMART Finance?

Why is he a Manager if he doesn't know that stuff?

Several of the partners have asked ME for help lately in those systems!

Maybe I should be partner instead. :lol:
