Although, I did sing really well before my voice changed. I was in a boys ensemble in 6th grade. There may have been 5-6 of us. Once it changed, forget about it! I never really sang like that again, but I did enjoy the choir experience. Except there were about 100, and I could hide and blend in.

I was a soprano - before the change. I think that's what fucked me up so much, soprano one year, different school and I'm forced to be a tenor.
