Funny cast and funny show. I had alot of fun watching it.

Modern Family is a new comedy series that premiere on ABC on September 23rd which is about when the Pritchett, Delgado and Dunphy families agree to be interviewed by a documentary crew, they have no idea just how much they're about to reveal about themselves. Jay Pritchett met the stunning Columbian Gloria when she bartended in a bikini at the pool party he threw for himself the day his wife left him. Now Jay and Gloria are married and Jay tries hard to keep up with his much younger and hotter wife and her passionate teenage son, Manny. Claire Delgado (Julie Bowen) is having a hard time raising her own family. Her husband Phil is great, except for the fact that he thinks he's "down" with their teenage kids, much to their embarrassment. Mitchell Dunphy and his enthusiastic partner Cameron have just adopted Lily, a precious little baby girl from Vietnam. This engaging new comedy offers a 'mockumentary' view into the complicated, messy, loving life of three unique families. Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd invite you into the sometimes warm and sometimes twisted embrace of modern day families. The show airs every Wednesday night at 9pm on ABC. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

I found the depiction of the gay couple as a surprisingly fresh and honest one, the writers have at least so far tried to avoid going into the cheap stereotype drawer.

Except for the airplane scene, but that was just hilarious. Creampuffs.

That really surprised me too! Nothing in the previews or the interviews I read even hinted at that.

Yeah. Nothing hinted at them being 1 big family. They dont even look related at the previews lol.

Just wanna watch episode 2 and see this series comes along.

I read interviews with several cast members and several previews, and it was never mentioned.

This is my fav new show.

Several literally LOL moments.

The airplane scene, the mural, the Lion King scene.

Anyone caught Al Bundy calling the kid a potsticker? Oh snap.

The father Phil, he's hilarious. I was crackin up. Especially when he was shooting his son and the kid asks "Why are you smiling?" and he didn't even know he was. LMAO!

I finally got around to watching this and I didn't even think that all three families were related, I thought they were neighbors lol. This show is fantastic, the Lion King scene was hilarious. It was not that serious lol

Loved the "cool" dad. He shot everyone lmao.

Why does Ed O neill always get these hot ass MILFS???? First Married With Children and now Sofia Vergada? Lucky Guy!

I laughed when Gloria said "FEEL" and the cool dad felt her and then his wife said. She said Phil not 'FEEL" OMG I was in stitches. love this show

Love the show....ABC has really stepped up this season with their comedies. Between this, Cougar Town and The Middle...they have a hit on Wednesday nights

Cameron is HILARIOUS! The look on his face when the lady said Meryl Steep was the reason 'Mamma Mia" sucked was hilarious. You just dont say shit like that to a gay man lol. Mitchell is equally funny but Cameron is the clear star between them both.

Cool dad spending the whole episode looking for a bike, THE WRONG BIKE no less was funny as hell.

I loved the scene with Manny and Ed O Neill's character outside on the sidewalk. 9Waiting for Manny's dad) It was touching :(

I love this show, and they better keep up the good writing. The 2nd episode, while funny, wasn't as riotous as the first.

First off this show would SUCK! without Gloria, Cameron, Phil and Manny. Those 4 characters are hilarious.

Phil is such a dumbass, when he was acting like a kid with the plane and said "I LOVE THIS" I knew he was getting it with the plane and I was right lol, then to top it off the dad cares for the plane instead of PHIL? LOL!

Manny and blonde mom having a therapy session was so funny, she was really telling him shit as if he was a therapist lol. Manny has to be the best child actor in primetime atm. So talented!

Gloria just cracks me up:) This show is funny but I do enjoy the sweet moments like when all the guys hugged<3333 Awww so glad its picked up for a full season!

I loved how both couples (Gloria/Jay) (Phil/Claire) were bickering about which son is the weird one after the school meeting. It was funny because both Manny and Luke are weird equally but both mothers don't see it lol.
Phil cracks me up. "I just hate when both of my girls are fighting" LOL! Since when is Gloria his girl?

Mitchell trying to be into football was funny, poor guy. I was confused about the coal digger statement myself until I thought about it and Luke meant Gold Digger. I'm that slow lol

LMAO@Cameron saying that Jay is attractive, that scene was awkward lol.

I liked the ending, its kind of like "Full House" when the families have issues but always fix them by episodes end. That's really sweet!

ARGH! I missed tonight's episode! I have really enjoyed the series so far. The writing is sharp, the cast is great, and I really hope that ABC will pick it up for a full season. It is far and away my favorite new comedy this year.
