I forgot about those games guess i was to cought up the the excitment but to be honest i half expected someone to say MK V DC had kitana without mileena that game is a sak of kak it should be wiped out of everyones memory forever
 


All these clips have ignited the 8 year old within. Can't wait for this game to be released.
 
Well I for one would like to see this made into a feature movie. I believe they'll add all the special effects and stuff in the movie, but I love the rationality of the characters. Maybe its me, but if a movie can make sense of its characters, and find a new way to express them, then I'm game. If I wanted to just watch the storyline of the game on screen, I'd get a playstation, an HDMI Output cord, a projector, and go for it that way. But that's just me, I'm up for enjoying this movie if it gets made.

This "trailer" is an independently-produced short film of a 'vision' the director, Kevin Tancharoen, has for the next Mortal Kombat movie (basically something for him to pitch to Warner Brothers, who owns the rights). Here's an interview he gave about it:

Now are you ready to be disappointed? Kevin has only one feature film under his belt so far...and it was the 2009 remake of Fame. #-o

there is a new mortal kombat movie coming out, but whether or not it has anything to do with this is up in the air

i really hope it is similar to this though, because this was such a step in the right direction for MK movies. good performances, interesting story and a lack of cheesy or over-the-top effects. and that fight scene was actually interesting to watch

seriously, these movies have so much potential to be good with interesting characters and potentially entertaining storylines. it just has to be executed passably well. let's hope for this upcoming one guys

also my favourite character by far is Ermac, and he best be included in every future release of everything ever
