I won't deny that grew up in the 90's and that i'm partial to that medium, but i do have a 30 dollar mp3 player... that i use for walking and bus rides. Don't have a car yet.

LOL, I have a $15 Jenseng MP3 player that's awesome and I use it at the gym. I can't afford the high quality ones though and my CD player doesn't even work properly so I'm stuck with the radio. I also listen to the radio at work all the time so I'm used to hearing the same songs replayed over and over.

I'm deeply ashamed to admit this one has grown on me and it gets way too much airplay:

Wow. That music video is fucking stupid. I have heard this song like once or twice and I kinda like it. But I like it less from the music studio. This song is on "Tap Tap Revenge 2" though and it kinda is fun to play. The hellen keller part is kinda stupid though. I get what they are trying to say with it. But they kinda fail.

I think the most annoying songs I've ever heard on the radio are

"Pokerface" and "Paralyzer". My god I heard that damn Paralyzer song so much. Oh and "Black Betty". That was kinda annoying too.

I mostly listen to two rock/alternative stations. They don't play the "Top Chart Hits" which consists of POP, R&B, Rap, Rock, Alternative, and so forth.

They mostly focus on past and current rock, alternative, metal, and sometimes punk. So it filters out that stupid jonas bros. and hanna montanna crap.

OMG. "SUPER JONAS BROS." Now that's fucking scary...

But yeah CD players are also another solution. But I generally plug my iPhone into the car to listen to playlists from that. Most cars do support FM transmitters too so you can even buy a simple 20 MP player and play music from that through a dead FM station.

If you are fortunate enough to have a newer car or know someone who has a newer car they use "Auxiliary" ports where the music plays directly from the car and not from the FM stations so no searching for a blank station. The sound is much better and never static.

I hear Sirius/XM radio is a pretty good solution to radios too.
