I actually thought Mariah Carey's glitter was ok. (honestly).

'Saw' wasn't that disturbing. tho that leg scene was pretty gross.
tho i hear saw 2 is more distrurbing then the first one. so i want go see it.

'Heavenly Creatures' was disturbing at the end.

I've probably seen others but i cant think of them yet.

Name a movie that you found to be so disturbing that you couldn't stop thinking about it for days and even now it still had an impact on you.

For me it was Requiem for a Dream. Starring Jared Leto, Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Waynes. It's about when the drug-induced utopias of four Coney Island individuals are shattered when their addictions become stronger.

What was disturbing was how you witness their lives just fall apart. Especially Ellen Burstyn's character. Quite captivating, ending is so despressing. Just disturbed me a lot. The imagery was intense. Very well directed. Dark movie

What movies have disturbed you and why?

i remember that movie and it also grossed me out............................
this isnt a movie but it disturbed me alot. i was getting ready for my high school graduation. i put it on HBO and saw this documentry about women who get put to death in the Middle East if they got raped or had sex outside marriage or if they had sex before marriage. well anyways they showed 2 young girls getting stoned to death. it made me feel so sick to the point i almost missed my graduation. i couldnt party afterwards cause i kept replay ing when those 2 young girls getting stoned to death

Bloody Sunday, a very realistic documentary style reenactment of an Irish riot.

The Audition. It is a japanese film. Really disturbing and the end. Ohhhhhhhh

"Frailty" with Matthew Mcconaughey was really disturbing, and very creepy.

I'd have to say "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" the original.
I was 7yo and my sadistic brothers thought it would be funny to take me.
Well, I can honestly say that movie f*cked me up for many years. I could not watch anything remotely scary on TV and going to the movies was out of the question.

Not the whole movie, of course, but the beginning scenes from "The Horse Whisperer" still give me the willies. The fact that horses were involved, and the slow painful build-up add to a truely disturbing moment.

amytiville horror, the original..still cant stand watching it or seeing any preview of it

about 15 yrs ago i saw a documentary on abuse to animals. one scene had a guy cut a snakes head off while it was still alive and the worst was this cat that got skinned and thrown on a skillet. it cried till it died. i still get chills thinking about it. all these acts were from other countries.

Sin City had me cringing through most of it. Great movie, but the violence was a little overwhelming for me. :(

Requiem for a Dream was extremely disturbing. It was past midnight, I was tired and that, for some reason, added a whole lot to it. I was disturbed for days. My second most disturbing film was Pi, also directed by Darren Aronofsky. A third highly disturbing movie was Midnight Cowboy.

I'm weird but most movies don't freak me out...

I truly laugh at horror movies.

Few movies weirded me out... 8mm and The Twilight Zone Movie to be exact. Bless The Child gave me nightmares... But these movies mainly disturbed me because I watched them before bed, at like.. two in the morning, after eating hordes of junk food.

The Vanishing - the dutch version - will stick with you. But you can always go with the US version which - as always - ends well.... umm, almost well.

ooops, I just noticed Sagitarrian already mentioned the same thing...
