For me it's Cybil. I hear that they are going to do a remake.

So what is it?

Mine would be a toss-up between The Exorcist and the Passion of the Christ!

I don't think I even saw the Exorcist until I was 20, and since I heard all about it, I don't think I was really all that disturbed by it.

Let's see. Passion of the Christ completely drew me in when I saw it. I was just mesmerized watching it.

I found the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre to be pretty disturbing when I first saw it. I personally think it was way ahead of it's time. I remember hearing stories from my Dad saying when it first came out, people were throwing up in the theatre.

There is a film called Last House on the Left, which I haven't seen yet, but supposedly is one of the most disturbing movies out there.

For pure the fact that it was so long and so bizarre, I have to say "A.I." It is truly mind-bogglingly moronic and thus extremely disturbing that a filmmaker with so much talent would make such a load of c#&p!

Psycho did it for me, saw it with a friend when it first came out, it is the grandfather of all scary or horror movies, the other one that did me in was Jaws.

it takes a lot to disturb me, nothing really comes to mind... but gummo by harmony korine is just so different, so crazy I'll have to say that.

Pasolini's Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma

Yup, thats what I was gonna say too. That movie was fucking insane.

I'd also have to say 'Caligula' with Roddy McDowell and Helen Mirren, and Larry Clarks 'Kids' and 'Bully' and 'Ken Park.'

Surrender Dorothy
Kids
Requiem for a Dream
Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr.
Any Todd Solondz
Blue Velvet
Heavenly Creatures

Im not going to lie. I can watch some pretty gruesome stuff but the movies that really bother me are ones where dogs get hurt. I just get really upset and usually cant enjoy anything after seeing that.

^yeah, when a movie involves extreme torture or cannibalism, that really makes it disturbing. lol

The Exorcist and Six Ways To Sunday. I had a feeling they were gonna do it in Six Ways but still when they did do it I kept saying, "Ewww, no!"

Steel Magnolias

It is disturbing that people actually liked this film.
