It's gotta be either this or bagpipes. You also can't tune a drum, or can you

Yes drums can be tuned; prime example, tympani.

Nothing is more romantic then the banjo :luv2:

"Walter, if music be the food of love, go swallow a banjo"

Or you can tuna fish, if you choose. Hi, Gery!

I think that a softly-played piano is about as romantic as can be (and I include Gery's music in this)...or a harp.

Or PROBABLY some of the musical instruments what I saw in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York City) which I have NO IDEA how they sound...

It looks like a rather silly toy, hardly deserving of the name "musical instrument".

Oh -- yes, you tune drums, not just the tympani but bass and snare as well. Keeping the drums tuned was a major affair when I was in marching band, though not so much when there weren't any awards at stake.

What the hell is that, a whining sperm?

Bagpipes? How can anyone find that dreadful screeching romantic?

. . .

Right?

They are (or were) war pipes. Like a bugle, blasting the charge, calling to arms, or just making people agitated enough to go fuck someone up. :)

Even worse when they are played at funerals - like taps - gloomy.
