It's about time the USA woke up to the excitement of MOTOgp. And this coming w/end is the time to do so. American Nicky Hayden leads the MOTOgp rankings; the race at Laguna Seca on Sunday 23/07/06, promises to be a thriller.

Valentino Rossi, the greatest sportsman on the planet at the moment, is second in the rankings, and is looking for his 6th championship in a row. And the kid - Dani Pedrosa - from Spain is looking to make his first race in the USA a winning one.

MOTOgp makes F1 and Nascar look what they are: jokes without a punchline.

Congrates to Nicky Hayden on winning at Laguna Seca. Despite his goatee, he has a a real chance of winning the MOTOgp championship this year ..|

Next race in Czech Republic on 20/08/06.

Nicky Hayden is hot right now in more ways than one! I have watched him since he raced in the 600 cc class on the US racing circuit. I knew it would just take him some time to get comfortable with the competition of MotoGP. Being from Kentucky myself, I am excited to see him have a real shot at winning the title this year. It will really mean something taking it from a rider as talented as Valentino Rossi (who I also love). What a championship we have going on!(!)

Valentino Rossi takes pole position for tomorrow's race in the Czech Republic at Brno. Should be a cracker. He needs to win. The American, Nicky Hayden, has a 51 point lead over Rossi in the title race.

Czech it out:rolleyes: It will be exciting..|

I know most JUBbers feel uncomfortable with a huge engine between their legs, but the MotoGP season is coming to a climax in Portugal today, with the final race in Spain to come.

Valentino Rossi, who - after Tiger Woods- is the greatest and sexiest sportsman on planet earth, is seeking another World Championship. The American Nicky Hayden is leading the standings, but the race today will be crucial.

No manufactured pit stops. No dodgy Schumacher-like moves. Just pure racing on 2 wheels.

Watch, and be enthralled...|

And what a race it was. Nicky Hayden was taken out by his team-mate Pedrosa, so scored no points. And Rossi, Elias and Roberts all passed the chequered flag with virtually identical times. Phew!!!

Valentino leads the World championship by 8 points.

Valencia in 2 weeks time is going to be one of the must-see sporting events of 2006. For sure!

dag nam it...im in portugal november. would've been cool to see an overseas race. was at laguna last year for the gp. there is no words that can explain the excitment i felt and atmosphere all around. the smell of petrol and ther look of those bikes...i like to think someday i could look like them tooling around the track (um...yeah right).
i just wonder what rossi's gonna do next. it seems like he could get bored w/ motogp soon. and im waiting for ducati to get back in the game for real
and on a side note...fuck nascar.

Cracking race - loved to have been a fly on wall in Repsol garage after the race!! Rossi and Yamaha are on fire now .. title is Rossi's. If only Nicky could get the hang of firing the bike off the line (& didn't have a nutter team-mate) he might not have spent this last half of the season fighting to keep up!!

Just to remind you: the climax of the MOTOGP Championship is tomorrow in Valencia. It promises to be one of the most exciting sporting events of 2006.

Nicky Hayden or Valentino Rossi?

Remember, in MOTOGP there are no artificial additives: no sneaky Schumacher moves, no compulsory pit-stops, no servility to advertising breaks demanded by TV broadcasters, no fixing, no politics.

VR is the greatest sportsman on planet earth at the moment. But Nicky...See:

is American, and he's angry!

But he's not angry now!!! He's World Champion!!!

Congratulations to Nicky on achieving his dream. After what happened in Portugal 2 weeks ago, he deserved a slice - or slide - of luck and is a worthy champion.:=D:

And Valentino was so gracious in his words of congratulations for Nicky after the race. The mark of a great person as well as a great sportsman.

congrats to Nicky ... just a shame we never got to see Nicky & Valentino battling on the track
