Movies need to be more acurate with certain things

Growing up, I was really insecure with how I wipe after having dropped off the kids.

Have I fallen through a time warp to the 50's?

And to return to the title subject .... it's the movies. It isn't real

Video games in movies and TV! When someone's playing a game, they button mash the controller, and even though it's a modern system, there are sound effects from the Atari 2600 port of Donkey Kong! That one always irritates me.

How many movies show, in detail, their characters taking a dump and wiping? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Oh, and I really want to watch a characters dental hygiene routine for 5 minutes.

If you are learning about life and the world from a movie, you're gonna have a bad time.

maybe the talent or art lies in omitting those boring things that everyone does and spends most of their life doing - the art lying in omitting the obvious and essential in such a way that the omission is not too obvious . One thing that I find very irritating is that for most novels-movies-sitcoms for the last few centuries almost not one of the characters has a job , no source of income at all . Must be rich or on vacation . Likewise no one ever wears glasses and it never rains .

one issue that I regard as misleading and potentially dangerous is the glorification - unrealisticness of personal physical violence . One gunshot or stab always kills , one punch knocks you out cold , without blood or bruising or thrashing about making noises like people will .

... But in movies, whenever they showed people having gone to the bathroom and wiped, they always wiped once and that's it. There were times when I was convinced there was something wrong with me...
