Moving out your home town.

My God. Some of you are like Jane Austen.

Our family is much more peripatetic.

I think to really count you have to move far enough away to change your telephone area code  technically I moved out of my hometown and into the adjacent city. I rarely go into my hometown.

I was  I forgot that I had an area code out of state that I had moved to for 3 months. I had 4 area codes.:) I have moved a number of times. Looking for the right place. I found it where I am.

Left my hometown in after college, in '83. Moved back in '85. Stayed due to an aging grandparent and the need to be supportive.

Moved to New Mexico in 2006, Alaska in 2007, back to New Mexico in 2010. Company moved me to Connecticut in 2016 and I left finally and moved to Alabama with an old employer.

Everyone should move from your hometown. It changes your whole perspective on society and community.

I still live in the city where I was born. I moved to a different city for a while, but I came back here 30 years ago. I expect to stay here now until my eventual demise.

This pretty much explains my history also. I moved back for better job opportunity and not so much that is was because my family was here.

Has anyone move out their home town? or are you still staying in the same area.

I now live in Spain and plan to stay , I have lived in NY NJ KY FLA LA & LONDON AND QUITE HAPPY HERE NOT GOING ANY WHERE!

If they keep me alive for the next couple of years... I SHOULD be moving...

It actually is my "home town", not my "native", which is BCN
