MP3s and MP4s

Hi

My computer has updated my Windows Media Player so now when I rip CD's it saves the files as WMAs (Windows Media Audio file)

Does anyone know how i can change it so they save as MP3s

Also does anyone know how to download MP4s

I can't remember with the wma question but with mp4's just right click the file and select save as, give it a location and then when it has downloaded open it with vlc player. free download here

I don't get it? How to download mp4s? You'd download them like you would any other file.

Right guys, here's the problem. I can change the settings WMA's to MP3s but for some reason it still won't let me burn CD's as MP3s

Could it be that you want to burn a CD but with mp3 files ripped from commercial CDs? If that is the case you should select make a DATA cd in your burning software and then drag the mp3's into it and burn them.

I'm a bit confused. I use and love iTunes... of course I use a Mac. Is it much different on Windows? Does it crash the computer a lot? I'm just curious.

Nether, I am trying to put some songs onto my new Mobile to use as ringtones, but if i put a CD in and try to rip it onto my hard drive it won't let me
