The only privatizing of Social Security that Foxpublicans™ have ever touted is Chile. Chile was the darling of Foxpublicans™ for nearly 25 years. In my MBA program we studied this program in-depth.

However, as the world started sliding into a worldwide recession in the mid-late 2000's all of a sudden, guess what? Chile's privatized plan was damned neared destroyed by the "market". It was plagued with high costs, as well as a downdraft economically, while retirees were still needing to take their retirement income. Go figure!

As I stated before, even in GW Bush's estimate which many consider low/conservative the cost of managing a privatized plan would cost 5% of payouts. The current cost of the Social Security system, is only .9%, which is over 5 times more efficient if not more so.

Everytime there's an election, republicans drag out this old fear card. This time they put a face on it...Angle....who is saying all kinds of bizarre things to keep her face in the news. Her heights of hypocrisy are only exceeded by the fact that probably better than half the teasippers she represents are already on Social Security.

As Rachel Maddow said earlier tonight, this is one of the best ads she's seen by the Democrats this year. And she's dead right! Democrats need to run on their accomplishments in a take no prisoners approach, and show just what insane stances their Teapublicans have.
