It was pretty good...Mike Myers was hilarious. The bit at the beginning with Chris Brown was funny. The Pussycat Dolls performance was awesome. Johnny Depp looked soooooooooo SEXY, I don't really know what it is about him. But he had me feelin like a schoolgirl. Robert Downey Jr. was hot too.

As for the actual awards...no one really won that i was excited about, except for Johnny Depp. So back to the hotties.

Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Jennifer Hudson, and SJP all looked hot. The cameras kept going to Paris and the other Madden brother, Rihanna and Chris Brown, and twinky Zac Effron and Vanessa Hudgens. I was sick of seeing them. I'm sure there were more famous people in the audience..

What did everyone else think?
 
Yeah, it was surprisingly good. When I heard Mike Meyers was hosting, I expected pretty dated humor, but it wasn't too bad.

Yes, Robert Downey Jr. was looking GOOD. And I like Johnny Depp, but never found him cute until tonight.

Lindsey Lohan....she's appeared at or hosted the past 4 or 5 awards, but yet, she doesn't seem to be in any movies, or in any popular ones at least.

OK, and who in the hell is voting for "Step Up 2" or "Never Back Down"? They bombed at the box office, and there were way more popular movies nominated. Kids these days (although those guys were pretty hot).

Oh, and the guy in the Old Navy commercial -- the stagehand in the white shirt -- HOT!!!

I was wondering the exact same thing....Disturbia should have won Best Kiss and Any of the other nominees should have won Best Fight.
 
The Pussy Cat Dolls performed their new song "When I Grow Up" which turned out to be pretty interesting.
I don't think the song was too amazing but it was pretty good and I liked it. James Franco is so gorgeous it's insane and same with Robert Hoffman. But I agree about the winners, I wasn't too happy with them, I'm looking forward to the MMVA's with Girlicious.

The rest of the show kinda sucked, imo.
 
It was good trashy fun as it always is. I don't think anyone expects it to be a serious go.

Johnny Depp, well, who knew. He rocked the house and looked better than I have ever seen him. Cool, sexy, in jeans, cleans up real nice. Hot!

I agree. Aside from PCD i thought the show was pretty boring. I'm not even a huge PCD fan but it was the highlight. I like coldplay but I thought they were so wrong for such a frivolous show.

The show itself is nothing more than a cheesy advertisement for the movies coming out this summer.
 
I missed the movie parodies and I agree that there was way too much shameless plugging of movies that these huge A-list actors already know Hollywood is doing their job of getting us to go see.
 
God..Robert Downey Jr. is my new obsession...i always new he was a very attractive guy...but jesus...i want him sooo bad now...

Eh, I stopped watching this a few years ago. It just doesn't thrill me. However, I do think that Nikki Blonsky should have won for breakthrough performance instead of Zac Efron from "Hairspray." I've seen the movie countless times (it's my personal favorite movie), and she just outshines him in every possible way. Just my two cents.
