MTV's RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins

UGH Wes is such a jackass and not in a fun way either. I just hate him. I hate having to spend half of the episode listening to confessionals about how amazing he is. Who the fuck cares if JoHanna made otu with Kenny neither of them were dating you at teh time neither of them owe you a God Damn thing. And why the hell does that mean you have to be a complete asshole to everyone on your team? I think that's what irritated me most, this whole thing came out of nowhere for no reason other than the fact he's insecure.

I just hope they can get rid of him soon. And if they can't well they better lose Johnnie and Evan in the process. I feel like poor Katie is danger, which sucks because i love her plus she, Susie and Johana seem to be the onyl "champions" thinking.

I see where Wes is coming from. It would be awful to see someone who he was in love with for a long time behaving like such a whore on television with a guy like Kenny. Kenny is one of the dumber guys on these challenges and only seemed to win because on The Island his little crew had numbers. If it was a decent like Brad I dont think it would have been an issue. But if my ex was on TV making out with a mental midget like Kenny I'd be livid. He should be just as mad at Johanna but that's not human nature.

In that Wes stayed was a plus but I do like Chet and I like his bravery for wearing the shit that he wears.

I think Kenny is hot but he is such a pig ass slut much like everyone else.
I like Wes because of his body and the fact he is trying to screw all the people i truly hate - Evan, Johnny, Kenny.

It would be nice to see the Challengers win because I am so for the under dog - and I want Brad BRAD BRAD to win. He is such a cool guy.

Yes! I think out of all the people there who hasn't won one of these, Brad deserves to win the most. He's never been a douche and he comes in with the right mind set. His choice in fiancé, ehhhhh.... but whatever. He almost had it last challenge but Rachel kinda screw his lead and alas that tool Evan won. What a shame.

I agree. Brad is BY FAR my favorite of the guys, and he has been for quite some time now.

Yeah he's my favorite too.

And you know what's funny? how alot of the people on the Champions side get pissed at Wes for throwing missions but yet most if not all of them have thrown missions on Past challenges at some point or another. And the fact that they say Wes has a huge Ego but yet once again most if not all of them have huge egos.

It's not that the other douches are any better or worse than Wes it's just that you're use to seeing them more as Wes has been absent from the last few challenges. I promise me after a little while you'll despise the troll. Shutters.... get is fugly face off my TV screen.

If I have to choose, I guess I hate Wes more than I hate the others. I don't really have a reason, other than I liked Johnny during the Key West season (I think everyone in Key West benefited from not being Tyler).

I found it hilarious that all of Wes's tough talk amounted to nothing. He failed at throwing the challenge and then almost lost to Chet of all people.

In retrospect, even without factoring in Wes's treachery, sacrificing the bottom two players (who had the farthest to climb) may have been strategically sound. They ended up winning by seven minutes, which means it wasn't all that close.

The problem is that this Wes versus the world routine could get old really quick. There's really no face saving way for either side to back down (and, honestly, saving face probably means more to these meatheads than the money does).

The irony is that if Wes manages to succeed in throwing challenges, and if they follow through and keep sending him in, he could amass a lot more money than anyone else on his team.

YAY (*8*) I was beginning to fear I was teh only one on the troll hate train. But luckily I am not, and I'm in good company no less.

Wes>>>>>>>>>>>>Team Douchebag. I am going to enjoy seeing Evan and his bitches squirm when Wes throws these challenges.

i remember hating Wes on Fresh Meat. here it's more of an ehhh. he's still a jackass and maybe if he was nicer the rest of the team would be. Evan really pisses me off and so does Kenny. like I'm pretty sure Wes would slam your head against the wall Kenny.

and I'm guessing Brianna goes home? I'm trying to guess from the trailers. I saw more Katie than Brianna like Katie vs. Veronica I'm guessing. I knew that was bound to happen after that major blow up from Katie vs. Veronica on a previous challenge. "you'd sell your fuckin family down the river if you could" was that the quote? who knows

i like Kellyann but she's with Wes. ughh.

I miss Svetlana! her ass needs to come back to a challenge.

and lol @ Diem. i use to think she was tough but she isn't.

anyone who watched RR:Brooklyn...did anyone else think it was nice to see Sarah and Chet get along? I mean I assume they did for the time being seeing as she was rooting for him in the Ruins (aside from them being on the same team) and they sat next to each other a couple times.

anyways, why are the Vets, Champions wtfever getting mad at throwing the challenges. weren't Kenny and Evan doing the same to weed out the girls in another challenge.

sorry for this big ass post....

oh and i forgot to add. I liked Darrell but what the fuck was up with attacking Kellyann....and I know it might be edited but it really did look like he stepped down from Wes...

Wes is a jackass. Doesn't care about others. Self-righteous. hmm, maybe Cartman is right (ref. ginger episode and I'm kidding of course before I offend)

Remember, Wes was sent to every single one of those elimination challenges on that season he was paired with Casey, and he dragged her ass through it surviving week after week.
That's right. I didn't like Wes from Austin, but I really started to hate him during Fresh Meat. But of course the Evan/Kenny/Johnny axis can't be bothered to remember Wes's track record, especially when it has direct bearing on their current strategy. Even awkward details like:

You know, Lovegame, it's really bad form to point out hypocrisy to hypocrites, and they never appreciate it. :) It doesn't do any good anyhow, since these idiots would come up with some half (or fully) baked rationalization that makes no sense and defend it to the end.

Well, these people aren't exactly the brightest tools so I'm sure it'll take them a while to figure out it's to Wes' advantage to keep going into the Ruins. These challenges are always pretty basic, they don't really involve much thought or strategy but these people for some reason feel like they do, I'd like to see them thrown into a game like Big Brother and see how they withhold.

Oh yeah and I think that selling your family down the river was a quote from Beth to Veronica during Inferno II.

Also, please get a new host... I'm kind of sick of TJ.

^^
was it Beth? lol

i googled "Katie vs. Veronica"
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-d1Oh2fGR4[/ame]

i remember I saw this clip before and thought Katie was insane. but I guess it was somewhat warranted towards someone like Veronica? I don't know. I haven't seen Inferno I, Gauntlet I, Battle of the Sexes I, and so on and so on. I've never seen Road Rules to know most of these crazy people so my perception of them may (probably) be skewed.

true. they would rationalize and even backed into a corner they would just brush it off..

at least I didn't have to hear Johnny open his mouth much this past episode...i used to love the guy, well I did most of the Key West people, but after what he did to Paula (even though she's a whiney bitch) just ughh..

I actually know Kenny, I met him waaaaaaay before he started doing these challenges. Do not let that television demeanor fool you, he is extremely insecure, so I'm assuming this new douchebag persona is a coping mechanism or maybe he is doing it at the producers request.

Yes, but the Wes against the world routine has served him well before. It got him to the finals on one challenge and he outright won The Duel. And both times everyone hated him and wanted him out.

I thought of that too!! And of course this hasn't occurred to those meatheads lol (though it will when his bank account is announced by week five or so). Remember, Wes was sent to every single one of those elimination challenges on that season he was paired with Casey, and he dragged her ass through it surviving week after week. The others were always so disappointed when those two would return to the house (the elimination challenges that season were not witnessed by the rest of the players). Wes is a jackass, but he seems to have a knack for surviving those one-on-one challenges.

Two of the elimination challenges were Tina & Kenny and Darrel & Aviv. I can't take away from the troll that he did well. But Fresh Meat was unique in that the elimination was the exact same every week and Wes and Casey were the only ones who knew what it was. I also seem to remember that after they realized it was just going to be a race every week they started running in their free time to train... I think I remember Wes being somehow jack-assish to Casey in that segment. I don't remember what he did or said. Just that I was pissed at him.

Also once Tina & Kenny and Darrel & Aviv had done it and knew what to expect they smoked Casey & Wes in the finals. The Duel had eliminations that are much closer to the typical (and those that seem to be in this one) but he only competed in one weight loaded challenge against Derrick, though he eventually won. Sadly though the troll seems to be the largest one there in the absence of CT (who Wes only found the balls to mouth off too AFTER Brad had eliminated him) so if MTV does their usual Wes could hang on like a fucking barnacle.

What I think is kind of interesting though is that they'll keep putting the weak teams strongest available guy in and should Wes succeed in throwing it and then saving himself he's just going ot make throwing them harder as the other team will be losing their strongest players.

Well I do have to say throwing challenges in previous challenges was to 'get rid of the weak' and make the team stronger in their sexist minds. But Wes throwing things seems just because Kenny and JoHanna made out two challenges ago. I just loath Wes so much. I remember disliking him in Austin and just feeling every word out of him was insincere but I grew to hate him in the challenges. He was jsut SUCH a jackass in Fresh Meat.

Darrell did really come off looking really dumb and cowardly. I forgot to mention that.

LOL that's the Katie I know and love :) To fill you in Veronica was the queen bitch in those days and her and her skank horde's primary target was Katie. They claimed she was "weak" and that they needed to get rid of her but she foiled by their plan by winning Infernos and even sending a male from the Real World team home.

I don't feel sorry for those girls at all. I recall Evelyn in the Inferno 3 working side by side with Kenny and Evan to win and playing just as dirty as them. Same with other challenges. The only difference in this one is that she's involved in one of the schemes. It was nice to see her cry. Not because she's a bitch or anything but it shows she actually has a heart. As for Kellyanne, they did that in a game but she treated Parissa horribly in "The Real World" which is outside of a game. She didn't really whine too much about the move though.

If Evelyn took out Kellyanne, that would've been a really good move because they'd eliminate the strongest girl on the other team. And getting rid of Shavoun or Casey really is stupid. Shavoun cracked me up this episode. I wonder who will replace her if anyone does.

Why do they always give the winning team the advantage? They get to go last and take out 2 of their weakest players so they can win again? They should give the losing team the advantage by going last and taking out 2 of the winning team's strongest players so they have a chance to win.

Their whole fued was Katie's fault. Rachel was the one in the Gauntlet who threw Katie under the bus but Katie blamed Veronica. Katie even admited that she messed up in one of those "The Shit they Should've Shown."

Whether Ev has a heart has always been an open question. :)

It was hilarious watching her try to spin her new found sense of fair play, like she'd had some sort of road to Damascus moment.

On the merits, trying to take out the other team's best player is a sound, if risky, strategy; they just didn't take into account the fact that Ev is crazy. But they should have -- Ev has a history of erratic behavior, and she made clear that she didn't want to go up against whats-her-face.

What am I thinking? These people never take anything into account. They develop strategies, and sometimes they're not terrible, but they never stop to think that someone else might have a response or counter-ploy. "Plan B" is an alien concept.

Two things were especially funny. The first was TJ's rambling, incoherent valedictory. He basically said that Ev sucks because she's a quitter, but he couldn't quite bring himself to say it. So in an attempt to be diplomatic, he ended up saying things even worse, like Ev's "got a lot of hate in her" or something like that.

The second was Johanna's threat to sell the house out from under Wes. I want to know a lot more about that. All Wes could do was bemoan the unfairness of it all. Whining about fairness is what a five year old does, so I guess for Wes that's about right.
