MTV's The Duel 2

Last I heard, the season was put on hold because of the swine flu.
 
I just caught a repeat and I cant believe how well Mark has held up. He was on the original season of Road Rules and still looks great. I think he's kind of a crappy host for the aftershow but I gotta give him props.

I've never liked Rachel, ever. She's the biggest bitch and she's ugly so I don't know why anyone would fight over her. Well Jenn's a bitch too so I guess that works out. She complained about wanting to vomit after Tori kept saying "Baby" but the nasty thing that everyone has to watch was her and Jenn's lovefest. Tori and Brad haven't been that bad. No wonder why Aneesa was mad at her, what kind of friend avoids and ditches her "Best friend" there.

Evan's commentary is annoying as hell, I want to punch him in the face but not as much as MJ.

I knew Landon would be winning almost every challenge but I wish there wasn't such a big gap and that the challenges mattered. The people at the bottom have no chance of beating him or sending him home so the challenges are for nothing. If he doesn't win then it's Mark.

Watching that commercial of that horror movie, I just realized that Anna Paquin looks like Caitlyn from Real World Brooklyn.

Anyone know if they uploaded Landon's butt yet? When they tell us to check out the dalies for uncensorred footage, they show what looks like Landon doing a model walk with his bare ass blurred. If it's not Landon then it's Derek which I'd also like to see. I scanned through some of the clips and couldn't find it. Maybe they didn't upload it yet.
 
Awww, Sucks to see Derek leave. He actually seems like a drama-free, genuinely nice, mellow guy, which you can't really say for most of the people on these challenges. That duel was tough to watch though. He should have at least put the bottom puzzle pieces on the wall. Damn, I thought he was the cutest guy on the show (but the hair wasn't doing him any favors this season).
 
Doesn't look like anyone comes here anymore but oh well. The finale sucked, at least the winners did. I hated 3/4 of the Duel winners who won more money than any other challenge and those are Jodi, Rachel, and Evan. That wasn't fair how they picked, Mark and Rachel should've went in since they've both never done a duel before and Landon really did win over half the challenges by himself but he leaves with nothing.

It sucks so much for Brad to come so close once again and lose. He came in 2nd place on both Duels and came so close. If he didn't compete in 2 duels in a row pretty much right before the challenge, he would've beaten that tool Evan. He won enough money so he shouldn't be able to come back to compete for more the next challenge but he's back and we have to put up with him again. MJ's whole needing the money thing is shit. He's trying to have another baby but he doesn't need to. It's probably better if he doesn't because he's such a douchebag that I don't know how good his child raising skills are. He did not need it more than Brad who doesn't have a job and needs to pay rent and maybe save up for a wedding when MJ already got his wedding. At least Brad won some money though.

This was the first challenge since Fresh Meat where I actually liked Diem. I think I just hated her when she was with CT. What a douchebag he is starting that fight with Isaac. He seriously only goes on these things to try to prove how tough he is by purposely getting into fights.
 
I hated one of the winners but I thought it was a good finale. Evan is such a nasty two-faced bitch. I know people wanted Landon in the end but I dont get why he wanted brad in the duel. I think he woulda had a better shot against Evan. I think Brad is one of the best competitors there and is totally underestimated.

The extra footage special after was pretty good. it actually made me like Diem. Her dancing segment is hilarious. I liked what Landon said about doing the challenges for the people and the fun not just the money. And his sex dream about Ryan was good as well.
 
I agree...I'm upset about the winners. The girl has gotten on my nerves since her season of Road Rules. And it got worse once she started sucking on Veronica's tits all the damn time. I kinda like the guy who won but it still annoys me pretty damn badly.

Was it me or did Brad look sexy as hell on the review show? I love his eyes...they are so frickin sexy.
 
Brad is always sexy and a good guy. The unsexiest thing about him his Tori. She just sucks out loud. I really wanted to like her but she's just a bitch. They love each other now but they are not a compatible couple imo.

That's so true. She was so nasty earlier while throwing her tantrum. He needs to find someone as level headed and fun loving has he is.

I had to laugh (yet again) at Anessa talking such a big game and utterly failing at everything in the finale.

Evan climbing the pole hoisting the bicycle along with him was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long, long time. Had he not done that, he would have been partnered with Rachel and the finish wouldn't have been close. As it is, who knows what would have happened had Brad's chain not jammed, as he claimed.

If I were Britini, I would have taken my own sweet time while locked together with Evan. I mean, really Evan? You need this woman to help you catch up, and you scream insulting obscenities instead of encouragement? Ass. Contrast with Mark, who had more than enough reason to be pissed at Anissa, yet was very nice about it.
 
I think Tori is the worst thing for Brad. She picks nonsensical fights just to see how far she can push things with Brad. Her and Kim were both so annoying with their high-pitched southern accents. Plus she was so nasty toward Aneesa. ANeesa talks a big game and cant deliver but she's fun on the challenges.

Her cursing out Cara in the Gauntlet 1 is hysterical.

True, and she acts nonsensically while picking those nonsensical fights. I remember her demanding that Brad "stop shouting!" while Brad was being the very essence of calm. Then, typically, she stormed out of the room.

There's also the issue of Brad's employment. Brad's had a history of employment issues, and he's a bit of a flake besides. This is no secret. So Tori, here's a hint; if you have a problem being married to someone like that, don't get engaged to them. Her nagging on this issue smacks of entitlement to me.
 
It really was a sucky ending. Brad and Landon have always been some of the hottest and nicest guys in the whole Real World franchise and Mark really went up in my opinion with the way he treated Aneesa in the finale. Pretty much I'd have been quite glad to see anyone BUT EVAN win at the end.

As for the women Brittini was OK but kinda bland. Aneesa is endearing but didn't stand a chance. Diem is an annoying bitch. Rachel is abrasive but I typically can understand where she's coming from, so I was OK with her winning it.
 
I know some jerk posted who won some time ago so it was no surprise.

I can't stand Aneesa. I can't stand Evan.

I so love Brad, have from the first time I saw him in RR San Diego.

I love Landon because he is so super hot, so strong and formidable, and just so hot.

Tori has no idea what a man she does have (hung too). He is so sincere and real and special.

Mark grew on me like he has never done before.

I like Rachael and am glad she won. I also like Brittini.

Of this season, I loved Brad, Landon, Rachel, Jenn, Dunbar (dense but cute) and was so ever happy to see Isaac again. I just have a mad passion for him.
