We shouldn't raise our hopes. Didnt Trump say himself that he could shoot someone in Times Square and everyone would still vote for him? Seems to be a pretty accurate summation from this side of the Pacific Ocean.
 
There's a notion floating in the bike forum that Mueller gave "false information" to Papadopoulos, who in turn fed it to trump. If it affected trump's answers. If this is so, it is just one facet of a very brilliant trap.
 
Carl Bernstein (one half of the pair of investigative reporters who helped bring down Nixon) says that Trump is boxed into a corner for the first time in his life. Throughout his business career, he's been in corners, but he was always able to bully or buy his way out. If he was being sued, he's just get continuances until the other party gave up and withdrew the lawsuit.

I agree with Bernstein. Trump bought his way into this one, but he can't buy his way out, and it's doubtful he can bully his way out, either.

^ It isn't for lack of trying to bully his way out. Roy Cohn taught him well.

At this point, all he has left is appealing to his 37% base support. But I have to think that by now even the racism and anti-immigration rhetoric has started to lose its impact with voters as the harsh realities of his failed tax and trade policies become more apparent.
 
All that work and all that money to show he paid off a hooker that we knew he paid off. Wow what an investigation. Jerome Corsi filed a lawsuit for 250 million against justice dept and several other agencies for trying to coerce him into lying about Trump or face prison time. President Pelosi, hell no, she can't even speak coherently half the time.
