Music/Illegal Downloading Habits

There was actually a recent study published that states people who illegally download music are among the music industries biggest purchasers (legally) of music.

God, you're still here?

Hell I thought you were dead!

Well I sometimes download movies - but it's just for a test run to see if i like it or not... so maybe people who download music are the same? A "test run"

I am not going to incriminate myself.

Let's just say, I have over 40 GB of music on my computer right now... and some more on my external (but I am not sure how much).

Where'd it come from?... I'll never tell.

If I like the song i'll download it if I like the artist I'll buy it legally.

I also do NOT own any portable "walkabout" music device such as a Walkman, iPod or similar things. However, I have probably 150 to 170 C-90 audio cassettes full of music that I enjoy (from MANY/ALL genres covering MANY decades), and I often play those at home on my stereo system, or in the car cassette player.

I can't stand iTunes. I refuse to use it. I just rip directly to my hard drive in FLAC (not MP3) while avoiding that intermediary step.

iTunes seems to be the only program that gets the MP3 tags right as compared to Windows Media Player, and FLAC takes too much space that would be nice if I had a 1TB hard drive and used FLAC but I'm not that anal about quality.
