Did you see 2001 in a theater with a big screen? I think it would be essential. Same with Lawrence of Arabia. Some movies simply don't translate well to smaller screens. Others are probably improved.

I've never seen The Godfather.

I once mentioned Vertigo to a very important, very successful movie producer and he replied, "I'm embarrassed to say I've never seen it." I mentioned It Happened One Night to the head of production at one of the major studios and he said pretty much the same thing. Not unusual, I think.

Never saw The Godfather. It's a Wondeful Life. Citizen Kane.

No intentions of setting any of them.

No Latimer, I havent seen 2001 on a big screen.

I think not all movies are for everyone.

I actually watched Its A Wonderful Life last year because my brother in law watches it yearly so I decided to watch it. It was a nice movie but nothing Id write home about.

I tried Citizen Zane but I just wanted to know the meaning of Rosebud which I googled

If you watch shows about The Shining, there is so much in that movie to absorb. Everything down to the hotels carpeting.

I agree re It's a Wonderful Life, although I've never seen it in its entirety, nor am I particularly interested in ever doing so. I was impressed with Citizen Kane the first time I saw it when I was in my teens. I saw it again about a decade later and found the story and structure interesting, but otherwise hated it. What was interesting the first time came to seem pretentious.

Too many to list as I use to work a lot and now I have issues focusing.

I will say I have never watched Brokeback Mountain.

There are loads of movies that everyone raves about that I can't be enthused about

I find myself liking movies that aren't the most watched. The Cell and Basic Instinct are two of my favorite movies

Same here.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars films, I only managed to watch 15 minutes of Avatar, half an hour of the first Lord of the Rings borefest, and I fell asleep about half way through Brokeback Mountain.

"Saturday Night Fever"

I never made it past the first 5 minutes.

I don't find myself interested in a lot of mainstream or hit movies. I have never seen: Casablanca, Forest Gump, Dirty Dancing, Home Alone, Lawrence of Arabia, etc.

Actually, except maybe for the JB one, virtually everything else...

Forest Gump is a good movie. It holds up well.

Lawrence of Arabia is not in the same category as the other movies cited. Nor is Casablanca.

The Lion King was always a snooze fest to me. Also it's partially ripped off from Tezuka, part of whose anime is ripped off from Dinsney, so basically Disney ripped themselves off...

Also went to see the musical with my mother, sister and ex. Notably, the hyenas had a Surinamese accent in Dutch.
