I just wanted to apologize to the board for shining a light on something that put's the gay community in bad light. It started out okay but then in my defense I ended up replying in ways that I didn't mean to.

I did find that people judging anyone gay, straight, or whatever is just human nature. And that I am not the only person that thinks when someone is judging someone else then they act all superior after saying really harsh things, is a problem.

I know a lot of people could care less about this but I just wanted to make it clear and hopefully I won't ever say anything that puts gays or gay community in a bad
light.

We all fuck up and it just so happens I fucked up with my 1st topic on here.

Glad that you have a great sense of humor. I actually don't go to the dessert one. I hardly ever eat sweets. The salad bar is mainly where I make my trips.

It's alright, man. Don't let it get you down. "Fucking up" on the internet is a rite of passage. Offending people is inevitable, no matter who you are, what you do, what you say, or how you say it. This isn't the first or last time it'll happen either. It just comes with the territory and takes some getting used to. No one's perfect, or can please everybody, so shit happens. Plus, some topics are just "faux pas", regardless of how you present them. ANY criticism against ANY group of people (however true and/or nuanced it may be) is BOUND to cause controversy, and the messenger almost ALWAYS gets shot, especially when s/he's right. Always keep that in mind, pick your battles, and never take any backlash personally. Ultimately, you have no control over others, so as long as you stay true to yourself, don't sweat it.
