If you haven't already done so, tell her how you feel. Especially, that part of ditching some of your friends just to be her friend. I know if I were to hear or know something like that it would make me realize how much you care for me.

If she doesn't figure it out, then she isn't worth your stress. If she really cared she would respond in my opinion. No I dont think you're overracting given the situation but I do think you need to settle on what you're going to do and then move on. Worrying about it isn't going to solve anything but just wear you out...
