Why not? He's already on a cool horror television show. (*8*)

Looks fun. I saw the original back in high school. It was okay but the MPAA made 'em cut a lot of the gore out. I hope the remake keeps the launderette dryer scene!

Because it just wreaks of cheesy early 50's horror. There's a reason 3-D died out. It's just so... gimmicky. The real tensity in horror movies arises from the atmosphere and mood. The scare comes from those tense moments where you just fuckin' know that something horrible is going to happen very very soon and just sit there anticipating it in what seems like a slow lingering eternity that is created through skilled cinematic manipulation of lighting, angle, and sound NOT some cheap amusement park ride ploy that tries to create a silly sense of danger that is so beyond unbelievable it almost always comes off as laughable rather than scary.

But that's just my opinion.

Let's agree on this point: 3-D visual aren't what they used to be. The cheesy factor is long gone now.

I'll grant you that the technology is mildly better but idk I personally never need to think something is coming at me personal to be scare and/or jump. When something attacks/murders/mames a character I'm just as (if not more) shocked. You know?

Jensen Ackles = sexy!
Kerr Smith = hot!
Slasher film = so there!

Perhaps you should be his agent. ;)
