Jay....what can I say!

I have to admit that as I write this, I have tears in my eyes. I remember the first time I met you in Toronto, I thought you had been out because you exuded such confidence and, perhaps, because you were so beautiful.

At that meet, I was the one who was just coming out. Hell, I was scared to death because I was just stepping out of the closet after being in all of my life. When you told me it was your first kiss, I was so surprised.

Meeting you in St. Louis was like seeing an old friend. You are a great dancer and I had a lot of fun with you.

Walking with you in Disneyland was almost like magic. I often forgot that you were like me three years ago and taking steps out and discovering yourself. I know there were many points that I was terrified and not sure what to expect. I also know that it was other JUBBERS that helped me through many of those times and even in making the decision to come out at all.

I have met many fellow Jubbers and each has their own treasure to add to the world. Traveling as much as I do, it is nice to have friends in different parts of the country and world that I can meet for dinner or visit. Sometimes it makes the difference between a long trip and one that I look back on with a smile. Going from San Diego to Anaheim to New York and onto Huron, Ohio was a long couple of weeks but the time I spent with you and others in Anaheim still bring smiles (and tears) as I write this!

I shall try to make Pride next year; I had soooo much fun last year in Toronto! And I do know that next September I'll be in Montreal!

Take care and know that there are ears and shoulders always here....

Ok---crying a bit now, so many emotions, but I still have a smile on my face.
