If that's what they are doing then find a new person to examine you since they are probably cutting corners in many other ways.

That said, I'm a nursing student and I've had to do GU (Genitourinary) checks on men and women before (some of which were my age or attractive if older) and believe me you don't even think about it like that. Your mind if on your assessment, trying to remember enough to write it down later, what meds you need to give him/other patients, etc.

Add in the general stress of the job and the smell in hospitals and you couldn't get me to be more turned off. I think if a Fight Club era Brad Pitt walked in and dropped trow for me to do a check up on I probably wouldn't think about it.

They have to deal with drug abusers looking for scripts- fakers looking for payouts and anyone that can make a dollar off of them. That is so true... As nursing student myself, you SO dont think about that kind of thing when you see a nice guy naked. You have so much thing to do than fantasize about anything sexual.

My peers are correct. I have examined many good looking men and women, and yes you do make a mental note of their cuteness, but it's fleeting at best. (we're only human). I suggest you treat your visit as it is intended.. professionally. If the Nurse or Doctor has any indication that you are looking for anything sexual, you will either find yourself discharged from care, or chaperoned on future visits. I have witnessed both happen.
