The first time that I bought a package of condoms they were sold at the pharmacy counter and had to be asked for as they were not in plain sight. I asked for pre-lube, receptacle and she reached down and grabbed a pack and readily stuffed them in to a brown paper bag. I looked to see what she had given me and had to tell her that I said pre lube, she blushed red and exchanged them. This was in the mid 70's. Now condoms are in large displays with every type available.

Did anyone else ever have to ask at the counter?

I was married for 8 years at 23 my wife (now ex) woudl not use Birth Cotrl Pills. I went to a large Pharmacy in NYC Wall Street area a large chain and picked up a box of 20 Magnum large condoms I am 7 /1/2 uncut . When I got to the till it would not ick up on the laser and this Indian Women on a loud speaker need the price of Magum Condoms large neeless to say I got red in the face.

Have your noticed that Walmart has started selling small packs of condoms at their front check out lines?

I have nerve shopped in a Walmart and won´t they treat employyess o bad that whenthey hire someone they give them forms to apply for food stamps and i some cases medicaid!

I didn't exactly buy them kind of borrowed them from the store. My friend was trying to have sex for the first time and I told him to make sure he was safe he said that the girl he was thinking about doing it with said oral only but she still wanted him to use a condom. But he was too nervous to go out and buy them. I told him I would buy them for him if he gave me the money.
