The way I feel is that if you dress to give off a look, you can't complain when people notice.

Given, you are gearing up for a professionthat doesn't have a broad range of people in it, just a few, so you're obviously going to stick out.

But if you like the attention, if you dress in a way that expresses the way you feel but also takes that unnecessary step to attract attention, then what can you possibly complaign about or blame but yourself?

And being aggressively contrary to others isn't really being yourself, it's just being antagonistic, so what comes of it is less about others and their lack of restraint, but what you are instigating.

But if that's not the case at all, then just enjoy yourself and brush the haters off, and soak up the joy of being a trailblazer...|
