Last week someone broke into my apartement. And took a buch of stuff. we reported it to the police.

I'm so furious. I mean who would really do this shit to me?

I'll post more later.

We live in a cruel dark world
i've been there before too!

good luck

Renter's insurance. Cheap. Invaluable.

My mother has that. She's going to type up all of the things that were taken and fax them to the (insurance comapny?) this week so hopefully we'll be albe to replace some of the things that were taken from our home.

Someone once tried to break into my home (I was only a kid at the time). Three people chased him away and he got hit by a car

Some of us have had worse.

But I do sympathise as it leaves one feeling violated. You will spend a long time wondering why you were victimised and may well feel quite uncomfortable for a while. (*8*)

Try not to let it play on your mind.

Hopefully what was taken is replaceable and that you do, in fact, have the means to replace them.

I am sorry that happened to you--We were robbed a few times when I was young...

Jersey..Sorry that your home was broken into. Thankfully you're fine. Have you thought about getting a Home-Security system installed? Companies like "ADT" will run you about $30 bucks a month and it's worth it in the long run...

One helpful "tip' is always leave a Light and a TV or Radio on when you're leaving the apartment. Even if someone is "scoping" out your "moves" they'll be confused to hear a TV or radio...

I Live alone in my home, my 2nd car is always parked in the drive-way when I'm away, and I always leave the Living-Room TV on and a light on in one of the bedrooms...It's not "bugler-proof" but at least I'm a step-ahead of preventing a break-in...

Well yes, a home security system might help, and a good police force that can pursue and capture the SOB/s is important, and finally, my 30.6 is important, and if I catch them well it is finished, and if I must I will drag them back into my house to make the point. Oh, I may have forgotten to add that a police chief lives here with me, and wishes I would not think that way.
