What happened was that a moderator (not an admin) gave him a warning for posting duplicate threads so he got a 1 point. The notification went to his email address as the system is setup to do automatically. No behind-the-scenes culling was going on. There is still 9 more points until a ban. This thread smells.

SETH What a great posting. I believe if more
postings of this nature were posted when "events - i. e. bannings, blow ups, points, threads of appeal and or farewell, explosions, et.al." occurr i think a lot of un-answered questions would be answered immediately and members thus would know what is going on and or "behind?" a said situation.
