You're right, it was something of a bonding experience. None of us cared too much; had a few laughs and raised our glasses to toast his name and laughed some more.

From the outside, I guess it could appear surreal. But if you knew the people I grew up with and where I grew up.. it was pretty much par for the course. So, to here's to M.L. Cheers.
 
This reminds me of something from high school (back when thought sex was evil):
I was talking with a cross-country teammate one day, and learned that he lost his virginity at the previous weekend's barn party -- and didn't know who to!
See, they dug into the monster stack of hay bales in the hay mow (rhymes with "Ow!") and made tunnels and rooms in a sort of maze. One of the rooms was lined with sleeping bags and blankets, and milk crates, and people who found it and wanted to could strip and have sex. There weren't any lights, so you never knew who it was unless you told each other.
I knew a guy who experimented with other guys in there; it was "safe" because there were no identities, and no one could see you.....

Damn! but I wish I'd been self-awake back then!

I guess for all they knew, a bunch of guys could have lost their virginity to the same chick, huh?
 
I hope to, some day, hook up with my older sister's ex. He was closer to my age than her's and we probably would have become good friends if, (blah, blah blah, not getting into that). After they broke up, she told me she thought he was bi and the reasons why. Some time before they broke up, I found his stash of porn and sex toys. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'd like to think he's bi or gay. My sister seems to think he's living with a man now.
