I really hope mine doesn't. Crack to me is a very vile trashy substance. If he snorted coke I would have more respect. Crack and meth are the low of the low.

not true about meth. one of my best friends became addicted to meth and he was one of cleanest cut person I ever met and one the nicest guys you could ever meet but the that damn monkey on his back was always there.

unfortunately crystal meth and the gay community have a strong bond.

It is true because it's my opinion. To me meth and crack are the two worst low life drugs, worse than heroin. I know someone who did it too, someone I was friends with, his paranoia ruined our friendship. I wouldn't willingly date or be friends with someone who did meth, but if I was friends with someone who did it after an established friendship I would not end the friendship, but I would feel sorry for them. and in my case meth turned that nice person into an asshole.

I had a former coworker that was on heroin for a while and used to go daily to get methadone, but still did drugs, and then later he turned to some kind of speed, he was a really nice guy. He was what I guess you could call a functional drug addict. He worked like 60 hours a week but it all went to drugs.

I know that it might be a good thing if the video comes out but giving $200,000 to crack dealers bugs me somehow.

There must be a better way to get that video
 
^ Oh I agree. But it is the lesser of two evils. There is also a whole movie in here about how the public and the mayor would be bidding madly to get their hands on the video and somehow doublecrossing the drug guys...something that Tarantino could do justice to.

But we're at 137K now with 4.5 days to go. I'm beginning to have some confidence that this is possible.
 
The Toronto Sun that supported him through out all his crap just threw him under the bus.(or "Subway Subway Subway")
They are side stepping the issue a bit but he is done.

Mayor Rob Ford needs to say: “I did not smoke crack and if there’s a video that I did, it’s a fabrication.”

He needs to say it if he’s going to continue to be mayor in anything more than name.

Mayor Rob Ford has fired his chief of staff amid a crack cocaine scandal he continues to refuse to address.

Mark Towhey confirmed as he left city hall on Thursday afternoon that he is no longer working for Ford. Towhey said he did not resign.

He would not say what Ford has told him about the scandal, nor what he has told Ford.

“My advice is for him and him only,” Towhey told reporters in the parking garage under the building.

If he's (Ford) truly innocent, he could easily prove it by taking a drug test.

The world was made poorer by her death.

I can't imagine that anyone other than his drug dealers and maybe his brother would care if he collapsed and expired. If he died tomorrow, he has left absolutely nothing of lasting value behind.
 
Rob Ford is an asshole he's a disgrace to the city of Toronto and to all of Canada! I am glad the Toronto Star and the rest of the Canadian media are putting the pressure on Ford. Even right wing writers like Christie Blatchford is attacking Ford in the press. The Globe and Mail published an editorial the other day bashing Ford. The sad part is there is no legal way to get Ford to quit the Municipal Act for the city of Toronto does not have a clause for the mayor to be removed. I think Ford is hoping this is going to all blow over and he's just trying to ignore the controversy.
